Package for display device

Abstract

A package for a display device includes a housing, an inner portion inserted into the housing, and a cover coupled to the housing an enclosing the inner portion, wherein at least one of the cover or the inner portion includes a plurality of fixing protrusion portions arranged in a curved shape.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A package for a curved display device, the package comprising:
 a housing;   an inner portion inserted into the housing; and   a cover coupled to the housing and enclosing the inner portion,   wherein at least one of the cover or the inner portion comprises a plurality of fixing protrusion portions arranged in a curved shape.   
     
     
         2 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein the cover comprises a first strength reinforcement portion protruding in a first direction. 
     
     
         3 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein one of the cover or the housing comprises a first coupling portion, and
 one of the cover and the housing comprises a first receiving portion accommodating the first coupling portion and coupled to the first coupling portion to couple the cover and the housing.   
     
     
         4 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein the fixing protrusion portion comprises:
 a first fixing protrusion extending from the cover toward the inner portion; and   a second fixing protrusion extending from the inner portion toward the cover.   
     
     
         5 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein the curved display device is disposed between the plurality of fixing protrusion portions. 
     
     
         6 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein the inner portion comprises a second strength reinforcement portion protruding in a first direction. 
     
     
         7 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein the inner portion comprises:
 an inner body;   a plurality of folded portions connected to opposite ends of the inner body; and   a plurality of connection portions connecting the plurality of folded portions to the inner body.   
     
     
         8 . The package of  claim 7 , wherein each of the plurality of connection portions comprises:
 a pair of hinge connection portions including a first hinge connection portion connected to the inner body and a second hinge connection portion connected to the folded portion;   a pair of hinge portions connected to the pair of hinge connection portions, respectively; and   an elastic portion connecting the pair of hinge portions.   
     
     
         9 . The package of  claim 8 , wherein the elastic portion is disposed at a corner of the housing. 
     
     
         10 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein one of the inner portion or the housing comprises a second coupling portion, and
 one of the inner portion and the housing comprises a second receiving portion accommodating the second coupling portion and coupled to the second coupling portion to couple the inner portion and the housing.   
     
     
         11 . The package of  claim 7 , wherein the inner portion comprises a plurality of side fixing protrusions extending from the plurality of folded portions toward each other for receiving ends of the curved display device. 
     
     
         12 . The package of  claim 11 , wherein the plurality of side fixing protrusions comprise:
 a first side fixing protrusion; and   a second side fixing protrusion arranged to be spaced apart from the first side fixing protrusion and defining a space in which the ends of the curved display device are engaged.   
     
     
         13 . The package of  claim 12 , wherein a first corner of the first side fixing protrusion and a second corner of the first side fixing protrusion have different shapes from each other, and the first side fixing protrusion and the second side fixing protrusion have a same shape. 
     
     
         14 . The package of  claim 13 , wherein the first corner of the first side fixing protrusion is rounded, and the second corner of the first side fixing protrusion is inclined,
 wherein the first corner of the first side fixing protrusion is in contact with a surface of the curved display device.   
     
     
         15 . The package of  claim 1 , wherein the housing comprises:
 a planar portion;   a side portion extending from the planar portion; and   a third strength reinforcement portion protruding in a second direction from the side portion.   
     
     
         16 . A package for a curved display device, the package comprising:
 a housing comprising:
 a planar portion; and 
 a side portion extending in a first direction from the planar portion; 
   an inner portion inserted into the housing and surrounded by the side portion; and   a cover coupled to the housing an enclosing the inner portion,   wherein each of the cover and the inner portion comprises a plurality of fixing protrusion portions arranged in a curved shape, and   wherein the curved display device is fixed by the plurality of fixing protrusion portions.   
     
     
         17 . The package of  claim 16 , wherein the inner portion comprises:
 an inner body;   a plurality of folded portions extending from respective ends of the inner body in the first direction; and   a plurality of side fixing protrusions extending from the plurality of folded portions toward each other,   wherein the curved display device is fixed by the plurality of side fixing protrusions.   
     
     
         18 . The package of  claim 16 , wherein one of the cover or the housing comprises a first coupling portion, and
 the other of the cover or the housing comprises a first receiving portion accommodating the first coupling portion and coupled to the first coupling portion to couple the cover and the housing.   
     
     
         19 . The package of  claim 16 , wherein one of the inner portion or the housing comprises a second coupling portion, and
 the other of the inner portion or the housing comprises a second receiving portion accommodating the second coupling portion and coupled to the second coupling portion to couple the inner portion and the housing.   
     
     
         20 . A package for a curved display device, the package comprising:
 a cover;   an inner portion comprising an inner body fixing the curved display device, a folded portion connected to the inner body, and a connection portion disposed between the inner body and the folded portion and being partially bent; and   a housing coupled to the cover and into which the inner portion is inserted.
