Archery Bow Limb Cap

Abstract

In some embodiments, an archery bow comprises a riser and a limb assembly supported by the riser. A limb cap is supported by the limb assembly. The limb cap comprises a cavity and a portion of the limb assembly is oriented in the cavity. An axle is supported by the limb cap.

1 . An archery bow comprising:
 a riser;   a limb assembly supported by the riser;   a limb cap supported by the limb assembly, the limb cap comprising a cavity, a portion of the limb assembly oriented in the cavity; and   an axle supported by the limb cap.   
     
     
         2 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , the limb cap comprising a bearing accessory. 
     
     
         3 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , the limb assembly comprising a width taper, an outer side surface of the limb cap aligned with an outer side surface of the limb assembly. 
     
     
         4 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , the limb cap comprising a protrusion, the limb assembly comprising a recess, the protrusion oriented in the recess. 
     
     
         5 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , the limb assembly comprising a first limb, a second limb and a spacer, a portion of the first limb oriented in the cavity, a portion of the second limb oriented in the cavity. 
     
     
         6 . The archery bow of  claim 5 , a portion of the spacer oriented in the cavity. 
     
     
         7 . The archery bow of  claim 6 , the limb cap comprising a groove, a portion of the spacer oriented in the groove. 
     
     
         8 . The archery bow of  claim 5 , wherein the axle does not extend through the spacer. 
     
     
         9 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , comprising a second limb cap comprising a second cavity, the limb assembly comprising a second portion, the second portion oriented in the second cavity. 
     
     
         10 . The archery bow of  claim 9 , the axle supported by the second limb cap. 
     
     
         11 . The archery bow of  claim 9 , the second limb cap comprising a bearing accessory. 
     
     
         12 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , the limb cap surrounding a first side and a second side of the limb assembly. 
     
     
         13 . The archery bow of  claim 12 , the limb cap surrounding an end of the limb assembly. 
     
     
         14 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , comprising a power cable, wherein the power cable does not contact the limb cap. 
     
     
         15 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , the limb cap comprising a wall portion comprising a first side and a second side, the first side defining an axle cavity, the second side comprising a bearing surface. 
     
     
         16 . The archery bow of  claim 1 , the limb cap is fixedly attached to the axle.
