Pixie Doll With Independent Posable Appendages And Embroidered Wings

Abstract

The title of my invention is Pixie Doll With Independent Posable Appendages And Embroidered Wings. This invention is a soft pixie doll toy for children being specific to the field of dolls. The principle purpose is to provide a doll suitable for children primarily made out of fabric with the appendages, wings, head, hat and body being constructed out of combinations of wire, foam, fiber and wooden spheres. These combinations result in a distinct shape. The doll having appendages that are posable but not connected to an internal wire system and with a body and head that permanently attach via a series of knots. The construction also features the altering of fabric composition from its original fiber content (FIGS. 1-43).

1 . An enclosed independent tube to be placed inside the appendage areas to create a posable doll comprising of a wire filled space with the ends of the wire secured over wooden drilled spheres and secured with manipulation to then place the end of the wires in a protective rubber tube ( FIGS.  18  and  21   ). 
     
     
         2 . A series of items when combined that create a secure attachment between a doll head and a doll body comprising of a drilled wooden sphere with a textile strip threaded through the empty space then knotted to secure a space for a wire tie to encompass the knotted area which permanently holds the doll head and doll body together ( FIGS.  36 ,  37   ). 
     
     
         3 . Creating fantasy genre (including but not limited to: pixie, fairy, elf, nymph, dryad, imp, sprite, angel, duende, nixies, korrigan,) wings comprising where thin, translucent fabric would tear from the doll body and instead using fabric that would represent thin, translucent fabric comprising of manipulating fabric fibers of a previously manufactured finished piece of fabric by adding fibers via an embroidery machine to change the overall structure of the fabric from opaque, dull to delicate, luminous and representing a thin and translucent fabric ( FIG.  29   ).
