Exercise Apparatus with Adjustable Loop Strap and Accompanying Buckles for Versatile Anchoring

Abstract

The invention relates to an exercise apparatus designed to serve as a versatile anchor point for various physical activities. Comprising a strap with adjacent loops of differing lengths and one or more accompanying buckles, the apparatus allows for incremental adjustments in resistance and positioning. The strap consists of two or more first portions with loops of a first length and a second portion with loops of a second, shorter length. Buckles with a square profile and a spring wire gate closing mechanism are designed to hook onto the loops for enhanced safety and ease of use. The apparatus may be provided as a kit with resistance bands of varying resistances.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An exercise apparatus, comprising:
 a strap formed of a continuous length of material, said strap having two or more first portions and a second portion; a plurality of loops in said first portion, each loop of said first portion having a first length; a plurality of loops in said second portions, each loop of said second portion having a second length shorter than said first length; and   one or more buckles, each buckle designed to hook onto a respective loop of said strap, each buckle featuring a square profile and a spring wire gate closing mechanism;   wherein said first portion and said second portion are adjacent to one another, spanning from a first end to a second end of said strap.   
     
     
         2 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the loops of the two or more first portions are disposed at either end of the strap. 
     
     
         3 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is combinable with one or more rubber bands, such that the loops permit adjustment of the anchor point of the rubber bands along the length of the strap. 
     
     
         4 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said apparatus is provided as a kit comprising two or more straps and a plurality of resistance bands of varying resistances. 
     
     
         5 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein each loop or the connection point between each loop includes marks for denoting positions. 
     
     
         6 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein said marks are laser-engraved. 
     
     
         7 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the total length of said strap ranges between 125-175 cm. 
     
     
         8 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein loops of the first portion have a length of 10 cm and loops of the second portion have a length of 5 cm. 
     
     
         9 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is comprised of 90% cotton and 10% synthetic material. 
     
     
         10 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said buckle is constructed from aluminum and the spring wire gate is made from steel. 
     
     
         11 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is usable as a yoga strap for stretching and measuring progress in mobility and flexibility exercises. 
     
     
         12 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is usable as a setup for gymnastics rings when two or more straps are employed. 
     
     
         13 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is usable as a replacement for a weight belt, being configured to loop around a wearer's waist and attach to itself via the one or more buckles. 
     
     
         14 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is usable as a replacement for metal chains in dip belts. 
     
     
         15 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is usable for measuring distances to adjust the difficulty level in bodyweight training exercises. 
     
     
         16 . The exercise apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said strap is usable as a door anchor for gymnastics rings and rubber bands.
