Abstract
A portable disposable beverage container for the storing and sale of a prefilled beverage mixer additive. The container is intended to be attached to an opened aluminum can of beverage and then when opened for dispensing, provide independent simultaneous dispensing of both the canned beverage and the mixer additive either directly into one's mouth, or into another drinking vessel to create a mixed drink for consumption.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A portable disposable container including a beverage mixer for attachment to a beverage can storing beverage liquid, the beverage can having a body with a top surface defining a beverage can opening in communication with a beverage can cavity containing the beverage liquid and a rim, the portable disposable container comprising:
an upper surface, a lower surface a side surface surrounding and connecting the upper surface of the lower surface; at least one conduit extending from the upper surface to the lower surface, the at least one conduit having an upper conduit dispensing opening defined by the upper surface and a lower conduit inlet opening defined by the lower surface; a storage cavity defined between the upper surface, the lower surface, the side surface and the at least one conduit for storing the beverage mixer, wherein the storage cavity is sealed and isolated from the at least one conduit; at least one dispensing port within the upper surface and in communication with the storage cavity; a retainer extending from the lower surface of the container adapted to attach and retain a rim of a beverage can and provide for alignment of the beverage can opening with the lower conduit inlet of the container;
wherein when the portable disposable container is attached to a beverage can containing beverage fluid with an open beverage can opening, and the container and beverage can are tipped, independent and simultaneous dispensing of the beverage mixer from the storage cavity of the container through the at least one dispensing port and beverage fluid from the beverage can cavity flows out of the beverage can and through the at least one conduit of the container into a user's mouth or into a drinking vessel.
2 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one vent port on the upper surface and in fluid communication with the storage cavity.
3 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one extended vent port positioned on the upper surface and in fluid communication with the storage cavity.
4 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , wherein the at least one dispensing port is an extended dispensing port positioned on the upper surface and in fluid communication with the storage cavity.
5 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one removable seal received on the upper surface to sufficiently seal the beverage mixer within the storage cavity until use.
6 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one label for displaying product or marketing information received on the bottom surface or the top surface.
7 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , wherein the side surface extends at least above the upper surface, below the lower surface, or above the upper surface and below the lower surface.
8 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one gasket positioned between the rim of beverage can and the retainer to reduce leakage between the container and the beverage can during tipping.
9 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one guide fixedly positioned on the container for guiding the container during attachment to a beverage can.
10 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one conduit aligner fixedly positioned to the at least one conduit and extending through the lower conduit inlet opening for guiding the lower conduit inlet opening in alignment with the beverage can opening.
11 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one fill port in the upper surface.
12 . The portable disposable container of claim 11 , further comprising at least one fill port cover to securely cap the at least one fill port and sufficiently seal the beverage mixer within the storage cavity until use.
13 . The portable disposable container of claim 1 , further comprising at least one extended fill port extending above the upper surface.
14 . The portable disposable container of claim 13 , further comprising at least one extended fill port cover to securely cap the at least one extended fill port and sufficiently seal the beverage mixer within the storage cavity until use.
15 . The portable disposable container of claim 2 , further comprising at least one removable seal to cover the at least one vent portion to sufficiently seal the beverage mixer within the storage cavity until use.
16 . The portable disposable container of claim 3 , further comprising at least one removable seal to cover the at least one extended vent port to sufficiently seal said beverage mixer within the storage cavity until use.
17 . A portable disposable container including a beverage mixer for attachment to a beverage can storing beverage liquid, the beverage can having a body with a top surface defining a beverage can opening in communication with a beverage can cavity containing the beverage liquid and a rim, the portable disposable container comprising:
an upper surface, a lower surface a side surface surrounding and connecting the upper surface of the lower surface; at least one conduit extending from the upper surface to the lower surface, the at least one conduit having an upper conduit dispensing opening defined by the upper surface and a lower conduit inlet opening defined by the lower surface; a storage cavity defined between the upper surface, the lower surface, the side surface and the at least one conduit for storing the beverage mixer, wherein the storage cavity is sealed and isolated from the at least one conduit; at least one dispensing port within the upper surface and adjacent to the side surface in communication with the storage cavity; a retainer extending from the lower surface of the container adapted to attach and retain a rim of a beverage can and provide for alignment of the beverage can opening with the lower conduit inlet of the container;
wherein when the portable disposable container is attached to a beverage can containing beverage fluid with an open beverage can opening, and the container and beverage can are tipped, independent and simultaneous dispensing of the beverage mixer from the storage cavity of the container through the at least one dispensing port and beverage fluid from the beverage can cavity flows out of the beverage can and through the at least one conduit of the container into a user's mouth or into a drinking vessel.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
