Abstract

A hand-held, multi-lane racing game comprising multi-lane curve track segments and multi-lane straight track segments assembled together to form closed-circuit assemblies. The assemblies can be interconnected via transition lane-exchange track segments and lanes from different race track circuits can cross via four-way intersection segments. The closed-circuit assemblies can be configured in a number of patterns and can include covers. The closed-circuit assemblies may be stacked with the use of post and sleeve combinations.

1 . A closed-circuit, multi-lane race track hand-held fidget toy comprising:
 a plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, wherein each of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments has two ends, a first curve end and a second curve end, and wherein each of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments has at least two lanes, wherein an inner lane is shorter than a second outer lane;   at least one multi-lane straight track segment, wherein the at least one multi-lane straight track segment has at least two lanes, wherein the number of lanes of the at least one multi-lane straight track segment matches the number of lanes of each of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, wherein the at least one multi-lane straight track segment connects two of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and the remainder of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments are connected together to form a closed-circuit race track.   
     
     
         2 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race track hand-held fidget toy of  claim 1  further comprising at least one multi-lane transition lane-exchange track segment secured between at least two of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, between one of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and the at least one multi-lane straight track segment, or between the at least one multi-lane straight track segment and a second multi-lane straight track segment, wherein the multi-lane transition lane-exchange segment has the same number of lanes as each of the multi-lane curve track segments. 
     
     
         3 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race track hand-held fidget toy of  claim 1  wherein the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments comprises three dual-lane curve track segments, wherein each of the three dual-lane curve tack segments have an inner curve lane and an outer curve lane longer than the inner curve lane, wherein the at least one multi-lane straight track segment comprises two dual-lane straight track segments, a first dual-lane straight track segment and a second dual-lane straight track segment, wherein each of the two dual-lane straight track segment connects two of the three dual-lane curve track segments; and, at least one dual-lane transition lane-exchange track segment, wherein the at least one dual-lane transition lane-exchange track segment connects two of the three dual-lane curve track segments to form a triangular-shaped, closed-circuit dual-lane race track. 
     
     
         4 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race hand-held fidget hand-held toy of  claim 1 , wherein the inner lane and the outer lane are divided by at least one center wall, with an inner wall defining the inner lane with the center wall and an outer wall defining the outer lane with the center wall. 
     
     
         5 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race hand-held fidget toy of  claim 4  wherein the inner wall defines a central region divided with divider walls into a plurality of spherical object storage compartments. 
     
     
         6 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 5  wherein the inner wall has cutaway sections on the portions of the inner wall defining the inner lane on the two multi-lane straight track segments, wherein storage access ramps formed in the cutaway sections each connect the inner lane with at least one of the plurality of spherical object storage compartments. 
     
     
         7 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 1  further comprising a plurality of parallel trenches formed on inner surfaces of each lane of the closed-circuit multi-lane race track including at least an inner trench and at least an outer trench, wherein each trench forms a triangular-shaped continuous loop with the at least one inner trench being shorter than the at least one outer trench. 
     
     
         8 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 1  further comprising a plurality of parallel rail sets formed on, or secured to, inner surfaces of each lane of the closed-circuit, multi-lane race track including at least one inner rail set and at least one outer rail set, wherein each rail set forms a continuous loop with the at least one inner rail set being shorter than the at least one outer rail set. 
     
     
         9 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 3  further comprising four dual-lane straight track segments wherein a third dual-lane straight track segment connects one of the three dual-lane curve track segments to the at least one dual-lane transition lane-exchange track segment and a fourth multi-lane straight track segment connects the another of the three dual-lane curve track segments to the at least one dual-lane transition lane-exchange track segment. 
     
     
         10 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 1  further comprising a cover dimensioned to fit over the race track. 
     
     
         11 . A closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy comprising:
 a first multi-lane race track subassembly having a first subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and a first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments, wherein each of the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, wherein each of the plurality of multi-lane track segments connects two of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments to form a first-subassembly multi-lane, closed-circuit race track;   a second multi-lane race track subassembly superposed about or surrounding and connected to the first multi-lane race track subassembly, wherein the second multi-lane race track subassembly has a second subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and a second assembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments, wherein each of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, wherein each of the plurality of multi-lane track segments connects two of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments to form a second subassembly multi-lane, closed-circuit race track; and,   a multi-lane master transition lane-exchange track segment having a least one inner lane and at least one outer lane, a first crossing lane and a second crossing lane, wherein the first crossing lane and the second crossing lane cross and are located between the at least one inner lane and the at least one outer lane, wherein the multi-lane master transition lane-exchange track segment has as many lanes as the number of lanes of each of the plurality of first subassembly multi-lane curve tracks segments combined with the number of lanes of each of the plurality of second subassembly multi-lane curve track segments, wherein the master transition lane-exchange track segment is disposed between two of the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments and disposed between two of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments, wherein the multi-lane master lane-exchange track segment connects an outer lane of the two of the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments to an inner lane of the two of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments to form a dual-subassembly, closed-circuit race track.

The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 11  wherein the first multi-lane race track subassembly comprises three first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, five first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments and a first subassembly transition lane-exchange track segment, wherein the first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments include a first, a second, a third, a fourth and a fifth first subassembly dual-lane straight track segment, wherein each of the first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the first subassembly first dual-lane track segment connects two of the three first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the first subassembly second and third dual-lane track segments each connect one of the three dual-lane curve track segments to the first subassembly dual-lane transition lane-exchange tracks segment, wherein the fourth and fifth first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments are each connected to separate first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments;
 wherein the second multi-lane race track subassembly comprises three second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, five second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments and a second subassembly transition lane-exchange track segment, wherein the second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments include a first, a second, a third, a fourth and a fifth second subassembly dual-lane straight track segment, wherein each of the second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the second subassembly first dual-lane track segment connects two of the three second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the second subassembly second and third dual-lane track segments each connect one of the three second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments to the second subassembly dual-lane transition lane-exchange track segment, wherein the fourth and fifth second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments are each connected to separate second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments; and, 
 wherein the multi-lane master transition lane-exchange track segment is disposed between and connected to the fourth and fifth first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments and disposed between and connected to the fourth and fifth second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments, wherein the multi-lane master lane-exchange track segment connects an inner lane of the first subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane straight track segments and connects an outer lane of the first subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane track segments to an inner lane of the second subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane track segments and connects an outer lane of the second subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane straight track segments to form a triangular-shaped, dual-subassembly, closed-circuit race track. 
 
     
     
         13 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 11  further comprising a plurality of parallel trenches formed on inner surfaces of each lane of the closed-circuit multi-lane race track including at least an inner trench and an outer trench, wherein each trench forms a continuous loop with the at least inner trench being shorter than the at least outer trench.

The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 11  further comprising a plurality of parallel rail sets formed on, or secured to, inner surfaces of each lane of the closed-circuit, multi-lane race track including at least an inner rail set and at least an outer rail set, wherein each rail set forms a continuous loop with the at least inner rail set being shorter than the at least outer rail set. 
     
     
         15 . A closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy comprising:
 a first multi-lane race track subassembly having a first subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and a first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments, wherein each of the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, wherein each of the plurality of multi-lane track segments connects two of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments to form a first-subassembly multi-lane, closed-circuit race track;   a second multi-lane race track subassembly positioned in tandem with the first multi-lane track subassembly and having a second subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and a second assembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments, wherein each of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, wherein each of the plurality of multi-lane track segments connects two of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane curve track segments to form a second subassembly multi-lane, closed-circuit race track; and,   a multi-lane master transition lane-exchange track segment having a least one inner lane and at least one outer lane, a first crossing lane and a second crossing lane, wherein the first crossing lane and the second crossing lane cross and are located between the at least one inner lane and the at least one outer lane, wherein the multi-lane master transition lane-exchange track segment has as many lanes as the number of lanes of each of the plurality of first subassembly multi-lane curve tracks segments combined with the number of lanes of each of the plurality of second subassembly multi-lane curve track segments, wherein the master transition lane-exchange track segment is disposed between two of the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments and disposed between two of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments, wherein the multi-lane master lane-exchange track segment connects an outer lane of the two of the first subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments to an inner lane of the two of the second subassembly plurality of multi-lane straight track segments to form a tandem dual-subassembly, closed-circuit race track.

The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 15  wherein the first multi-lane race track subassembly comprises three first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, five first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments and a first subassembly transition lane-exchange track segment, wherein the first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments include a first, a second, a third, a fourth and a fifth first subassembly dual-lane straight track segment, wherein each of the first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the first subassembly first dual-lane track segment connects two of the three first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the first subassembly second and third dual-lane track segments each connect one of the three dual-lane curve track segments to the first subassembly dual-lane transition lane-exchange tracks segment, wherein the fourth and fifth first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments are each connected to separate first subassembly dual-lane curve track segments;
 wherein the second multi-lane race track subassembly comprises three second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, five second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments and a second subassembly transition lane-exchange track segment, wherein the second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments include a first, a second, a third, a fourth and a fifth second subassembly dual-lane straight track segment, wherein each of the second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments has the same number of lanes as the second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the second subassembly first dual-lane track segment connects two of the three second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments, wherein the second subassembly second and third dual-lane track segments each connect one of the three second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments to the second subassembly dual-lane transition lane-exchange track segment, wherein the fourth and fifth second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments are each connected to separate second subassembly dual-lane curve track segments; and, 
 wherein the multi-lane master transition lane-exchange track segment is disposed between and connected to the fourth and fifth first subassembly dual-lane straight track segments and disposed between and connected to the fourth and fifth second subassembly dual-lane straight track segments, wherein the multi-lane master lane-exchange track segment connects an inner lane of the first subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane straight track segments and connects an outer lane of the first subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane track segments to an outer lane of the second subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane track segments and connects an inner lane of the second subassembly fourth and fifth dual-lane straight track segments to form a tandem, dual-triangular-shaped, dual-subassembly, closed-circuit race track.

The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 15  further comprising a plurality of parallel trenches formed on inner surfaces of each lane of the closed-circuit multi-lane race track including at least an inner trench and an outer trench, wherein each trench forms a continuous loop with the at least inner trench being shorter than the at least outer trench.

The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 15  further comprising a plurality of parallel rail sets formed on, or secured to, inner surfaces of each lane of the closed-circuit, multi-lane race track including at least an inner rail set and at least an outer rail set, wherein each rail set forms a continuous loop with the at least inner rail set being shorter than the at least outer rail set. 
     
     
         19 . A closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy comprising a plurality of multi-lane curve track segments that combine to form a closed-circuit race track.

The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 19  further comprising at least one multi-lane transition lane-exchange track segment positioned between two of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, wherein the multi-lane transition lane-exchange track segment has as many lanes as the lanes of each of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments.

The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 1  further comprising a plurality of trenches, each dedicated to a single lane and forming a closed circuit, wherein at least some portions of the trenches extend entirely through an inner surface of each lane, wherein a light source can be positioned below or near the trenches to shine light beams up into the plurality of trenches. 
     
     
         22 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 1  further comprising at least one multi-lane incline track segment and at least one multi-lane decline track segment, wherein the at least one multi-lane incline track segment and the at least one multi-lane decline track segment have the same number of lanes as the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments. 
     
     
         23 . The closed-circuit, multi-lane race fidget toy of  claim 1  further comprising posts, wherein the plurality multi-lane curve track segments and the at least one multi-lane straight track segment are formed with sleeves, wherein at least two separate closed-circuit race tracks are formed by combinations of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and the at least one multi-lane straight track segment, wherein the at least two separate closed-circuit race tracks can be stacked by securing the sleeves to the posts. 
     
     
         24 . A modular multi-lane race track fidget toy comprising:
 at least one base formed with a plurality of posts extending outwardly from a top surface or a bottom surface of the at least one base;   a plurality of multi-lane curve track segments having sleeves each being dimensioned to be secured to one of the plurality of posts;   at least one multi-lane straight track segment having sleeves each being dimensioned to be secured to one of the plurality of posts, wherein the number of lanes of the at least one multi-lane straight track segment equals the number of lanes of each of the plurality of curve track segments, and wherein the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and the at least one multi-lane straight track segment are secured to the at least one base to form a race track.   
     
     
         25 . The modular multi-lane race track fidget toy of  claim 24  further comprising at least one multi-lane transition lane-exchange track segment formed with at least one sleeve dimensioned to be secured to one of the plurality of posts, wherein the at least one multi-lane transition lane-exchange track segment is secured between at least two of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments, between one of the plurality of multi-lane curve track segments and the at least one multi-lane straight track segment, or between the at least one multi-lane straight track segment and a second multi-lane straight track segment, wherein the multi-lane transition lane-exchange segment has the same number of lanes as each of the multi-lane curve track segments, and wherein the at least one multi-lane transition lane-exchange track segment is secured to the at least one base.
