Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
. A positioning system for a multi-part shelf of a shelving display comprising:
a first shelf component forming a first portion of a first shelf, the first shelf component having a support surface extending from a front edge and an opposing rear edge; and, a second shelf component forming a second portion of the first shelf, the second shelf component having a support surface extending from a front edge to an opposing rear edge, and a first positioning tab extending downward from the support surface of the second shelf component.
. The positioning system of claim 21 wherein the first positioning tab contacts a first portion of the front edge of the support surface of the first shelf component.
. The positioning system of claim 21 wherein the first positioning tab is hingedly connected to the support surface of the second shelf component.
. The positioning system of claim 23 wherein a portion of the first positioning tab is frangibly connected to the support surface of the second shelf component.
. The positioning system of claim 22 further comprising a second positioning tab extending downward from the support surface of the second shelf component, the second positioning tab spaced from the first positioning tab.
. The positioning system of claim 25 wherein the second positioning tab contacts a second portion of the front edge of the support surface of the first shelf component.
. The positioning system of claim 26 wherein first positioning tab and the second positioning tab are hingedly connected to the support surface of the second shelf component
. The positioning system of claim 21 wherein the support surface of the first shelf component includes a tab receiving portion.
. The positioning system of claim 28 wherein the first positioning tab is configured to be received in the tab receiving portion of the first shelf component.
. The positioning system of claim 21 wherein the shelving display includes a plurality of additional multi-part shelves wherein each multi-part shelf includes a first shelf component having a first support surface extending from a front edge to an opposing rear edge, and a second shelf component having a support surface extending from a front edge to an opposing rear edge and a first tab extending downward from the support surface.
. The positioning system of claim 30 wherein the shelving display further comprises a back wall panel, a first side wall panel and a second side wall panel.
. The positioning system of claim 31 wherein the first shelf component of the first shelf and the first shelf components of the plurality of additional multi-part shelves are part of a first shelf panel.
. The positioning system of claim 32 wherein the second shelf component of the first shelf and the second shelf components of the plurality of additional multi-part shelves are part of a second shelf panel.
. The positioning system of claim 33 wherein the back panel, first side wall panel, second side wall panel, first shelf panel and second shelf panel are all formed from a single blank of material.
. The positioning system of claim 34 wherein the material is paperboard.
. The positioning system of claim 34 wherein the material is corrugated paperboard.
. The positioning system of claim wherein the material is plastic.
. The positioning system of claim 31 wherein the back panel includes a first U-shaped slot.
. The positioning system of claim 38 wherein the first shelf component includes a rear projecting tab configured to fit in the first U-shaped slot of the back panel.
. The positioning system of claim 21 wherein the second shelf component includes a vertically extending portion proximate the front edge of the support surface.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
