Abstract

A combination blanket and bag includes a blanket and a pocket. The blanket has a first end, a second end, a third end, and a fourth end. The second end is opposite to the first end. The third end is connected to the first end and the second end. The fourth end is connected to the first end and the second end and opposite to the third end. The pocket is located on a portion of the third end. The pocket has fasteners and an opening. The fasteners are connected to the pocket and the blanket. The fasteners can enable the blanket to be removed from the pocket when the fasteners are disengaged from each other. The opening is on the pocket. The opening can receive the blanket such that the pocket can accommodate the blanket folded when turned inside out.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A combination blanket and bag comprising:
 a blanket having a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, a third end connected to the first end and the second end, and a fourth end connected to the first end and the second end and opposite to the third end; and   a pocket located on a portion of the third end and having:   fasteners connected to the pocket and the blanket for allowing the blanket to be removed from the pocket when the fasteners are disengaged from each other, and to be attached to the pocket when the fasteners are engaged with each other; and   an opening on the pocket for receiving the blanket such that the pocket can accommodate the blanket folded when turned inside out.   
     
     
         2 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket further comprises a closure located at the opening for closing the opening after the pocket is turned inside out. 
     
     
         3 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket further comprises side rings for connecting to a carry strap. 
     
     
         4 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket is located midway between the first end and the second end. 
     
     
         5 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the fasteners are snap buttons located near the third end. 
     
     
         6 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the fasteners are Velcro strips located near the third end. 
     
     
         7 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the blanket is in a rounded shape, and wherein the first, second, third, and fourth ends are integrated in a periphery of the pocket. 
     
     
         8 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket is in a rounded shape. 
     
     
         9 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket has a lining that can be exposed outwardly when the pocket is turned inside out. 
     
     
         10 . The combination blanket and bag of  claim 9 , wherein the lining includes a waterproof material.
