Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. The present disclosure relates to a method of a terminal in a wireless communication system and, particularly, to a method and a device, the method comprising the steps of: receiving, from a base station, an RRC message including information for determination of a TCI state; receiving, from the base station, DCI including information indicating an integrated TCI state; when multiple TCI states are indicated based on the DCI, determining a TCI state for a PUCCH based on the information for determination of the TCI state; and transmitting uplink control information to the base station on the PUCCH based on the determined TCI state.

receiving, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information for determination of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state; receiving, from the base station, downlink control information (DCI) including information indicating a TCI state; in case that at least one TCI state is indicated based on the DCI, determining a TCI state for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the information for determination of the TCI state; and transmitting, to the base station, uplink control information on the PUCCH based on the determined TCI state.
2 . The method of claim 1 ,
wherein the information for determination of the TCI state is configured for each PUCCH resource, and wherein a same value is configured as the information for determination of the TCI state for PUCCH resources belonging to a PUCCH group.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the information for determination of the TCI state indicates one of application of a first TCI state among the at least one TCI state, application of a second TCI state among the at least one TCI state, and application of all TCI states among the at least one TCI state.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, from the base station, DCI scheduling a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), wherein the DCI scheduling the PUSCH includes information for determination of the TCI state for PUSCH transmission among the at least one TCI state.
5 . A method of a base station in a wireless communication system, comprising:
transmitting, to a terminal, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information for determination of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state; transmitting, to the terminal, downlink control information (DCI) including information indicating a TCI state; and receiving, from the terminal, uplink control information on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the TCI state determined based on at least one TCI state, wherein, in case that the at least one TCI state is indicated based on the DCI, the TCI state for the PUCCH is determined based on the information for determination of the TCI state.
6 . The method of claim 5 ,
wherein the information for determination of the TCI state is configured for each PUCCH resource, and wherein a same value is configured as the information for determination of the TCI state for PUCCH resources belonging to a PUCCH group.

The method of claim 5 , wherein the information for determination of the TCI state indicates one of application of a first TCI state among the at least one TCI state, application of a second TCI state among the at least one TCI state, and application of all TCI states among the at least one TCI state.
8 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:
transmitting, to the terminal, DCI scheduling a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), wherein the DCI scheduling the PUSCH includes information for determination of the TCI state for PUSCH transmission among the at least one TCI state.
9 . A terminal in a wireless communication system, comprising:
a transceiver; and a controller coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
receive, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information for determination of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state,
receive, from the base station, downlink control information (DCI) including information indicating a TCI state,
in case that at least one TCI state is indicated based on the DCI, determine a TCI state for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the information for determination of the TCI state, and
transmit, to the base station, uplink control information on the PUCCH based on the determined TCI state.
10 . The terminal of claim 9 ,
wherein the information for determination of the TCI state is configured for each PUCCH resource, and wherein a same value is configured as the information for determination of the TCI state for PUCCH resources belonging to a PUCCH group.

The terminal of claim 9 , wherein the information for determination of the TCI state indicates one of application of a first TCI state among the at least one TCI state, application of a second TCI state among the at least one TCI state, and application of all TCI states among the at least one TCI state.
12 . The terminal of claim 9 ,
wherein the controller is further configured to receive, from the base station, DCI scheduling a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), and wherein the DCI scheduling the PUSCH includes information for determination of the TCI state for PUSCH transmission among the at least one TCI state.
13 . A base station in a wireless communication system, comprising:
a transceiver; and a controller coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
transmit, to a terminal, a radio resource control (RRC) message including information for determination of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state,
transmit, to the terminal, downlink control information (DCI) including information indicating a TCI state, and
receive, from the terminal, uplink control information on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the TCI state determined based on at least one TCI state,
wherein, in case that the at least one TCI state is indicated based on the DCI, the TCI state for the PUCCH is determined based on the information for determination of the TCI state.
14 . The base station of claim 13 ,
wherein the information for determination of the TCI state is configured for each PUCCH resource, and wherein a same value is configured as the information for determination of the TCI state for PUCCH resources belonging to a PUCCH group.

The base station of claim 13 , wherein the information for determination of the TCI state indicates one of application of a first TCI state among the at least one TCI state, application of a second TCI state among the at least one TCI state, and application of all TCI states among the at least one TCI state.
