Shotgun Shell Loading Block Device
Abstract
A shotgun shell loading block device is provided. The device may be comprised of a base, a central block, and at least one outside block. The central and outside block have recessed areas which, when the blocks are placed together, form a cylindrical opening that can hold at least one shotgun shell vertically. The blocks may be connected using a rod and fastener. As a result, a user can load a plurality of shells vertically into the blocks. Then, a user can load the shells and quickly and easily crimp roll the shells (while they remain secured between the blocks) using a drill or other similar tool.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A shotgun shell loading block device comprising:
a central block comprised of a first recessed area and a first opening; an outside block comprised of a second recessed area and a second opening; and a rod.
2 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 1 , wherein the first recessed area is comprised of a half-cylindrical shape.
3 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 1 , wherein the second recessed area is comprised of a half-cylindrical shape.
4 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 1 , wherein the rod is comprised of a threaded rod.
5 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 1 further comprised of a fastener.
6 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 5 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a wing nut.
7 . A shotgun shell loading block device comprising:
a base comprised of a bottom wall and a side wall; a central block comprised of a first recessed area and a first opening; an outside block comprised of a second recessed area and a second opening; and a rod.
8 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 7 , wherein the side wall is perpendicular to the bottom wall.
9 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 7 , wherein the first recessed area is comprised of a half-cylindrical shape.
10 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 7 , wherein the second recessed area is comprised of a half-cylindrical shape.
11 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 7 , wherein the rod is comprised of a threaded rod.
12 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 7 further comprised of a fastener.
13 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 12 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a wing nut.
14 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 7 , wherein the central block is comprised of a first opening.
15 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 14 , wherein the first opening is comprised of a threaded opening.
16 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 7 , wherein the outside block is comprised of a second opening.
17 . The shotgun shell loading block device of claim 16 , wherein the second opening is comprised of a threaded opening.
18 . A method of using a shotgun shell loading block device, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a shotgun shell loading block device comprised of a central block comprised of a first recessed area, an outside block comprised of a second recessed area, and a rod; positioning the outside block near the central block such that the first recessed area and the second recessed area are spaced apart and a shotgun shell can be placed in between the same; inserting and securing the rod through the outside block and into the central block to move the outside block toward the central block; placing a load in the shotgun shell; and placing a rotary tool on the shotgun shell and crimping the shotgun shell.
19 . The method of using a shotgun shell loading block device of claim 18 further comprised of securing a fastener on the rod.
20 . The method of using a shotgun shell loading block device of claim 19 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a wing nut.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
