Abstract

Sun shelves are described. An example sun shelf has a main body and a tubular member. The main body has a first wall, a second wall, a third wall, a fourth wall, a base, and defines a first intake, an outlet, and a recess. The first wall has a first height from the base. The second wall has a second height from the base. The third wall has a third height from the base. The fourth wall has a fourth height from the base. The fourth height is less than the first height, the second height, and the third height. The tubular member is attached to the main body and extends from the first intake to the outlet.

Claims

What is claimed is:

         1 . A sun shelf comprising:
a main body having a first wall, a second wall, a third wall, a fourth wall, a base, and defining a first intake, an outlet, and a recess, the first wall having a first height from the base, the second wall having a second height from the base, the third wall having a third height from the base, and the fourth wall having a fourth height from the base, the fourth height being less than the first height, the second height, and the third height; and a tubular member attached to the main body and extending from the first intake to the outlet.

2 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the main body defines a cavity; and
wherein the tubular member is disposed within the cavity.

3 . The sun shelf of claim 2 , wherein the main body has a first exterior surface; and
wherein the cavity extends from the first wall to the first exterior surface.

4 . The sun shelf of claim 2 , wherein the first wall has a first ledge; and
wherein the main body has at least one support disposed within the cavity, the at least one support extending from the base to the first ledge.

5 . The sun shelf of claim 4 , wherein the main body has a fourth exterior surface; and
wherein the cavity extends from the base to the fourth exterior surface.

6 . The sun shelf of claim 5 , wherein the cavity has at least one support; and
wherein the support extends from the base and away from the recess.

7 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the first intake is disposed through the fourth wall.

8 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the first intake is disposed through the base.

9 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the main body defines a second intake; and
wherein the tubular member extends from the second intake to the outlet.

         10 . The sun shelf of  claim 9 , wherein the main body has a first exterior surface, a second exterior surface, and defines a cavity;
wherein the cavity extends from the first wall to the first exterior surface; and wherein the cavity extends from the second wall to the second exterior surface.

11 . The sun shelf of claim 10 , wherein the first intake and the second intake are disposed through the fourth wall.

12 . The sun shelf of claim 10 , wherein the first intake and the second intake are disposed through the base.

13 . The sun shelf of claim 9 , wherein the first intake extends through the first wall; and
wherein the second intake extends through the second wall.

14 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the first wall, the second wall, the third wall, and the fourth wall are substantially perpendicular to the base.

15 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the outlet is disposed through the third wall.

16 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the outlet is disposed through the base.

17 . The sun shelf of claim 1 , wherein the first wall has a first sidewall, the second wall has a second sidewall, the third wall has a third sidewall, and the fourth wall has a fourth sidewall; and
wherein the recess has a length and a width, the length being equal to about 78 inches measured from the first sidewall to the second sidewall, the width being equal to about 67 ½ inches measured from the fourth sidewall to the third sidewall.

         18 . A sun shelf comprising:
a main body having a first wall, a second wall, third wall, a fourth wall, a base, and defining a first intake, an outlet, a recess, and a cavity, the first wall having a first height from the base, the second wall having a second height from the base, the third wall having a third height from the base, and the fourth wall having a fourth height from the base, the fourth height being less than the first height, the second height, and the third height; a tubular member attached to the main body and extending from the first intake to the outlet, the tubular member disposed within the cavity; and a panel disposed over the cavity.
