Soap Glove Device
Abstract
A soap glove device is disclosed that is a bathing glove that may be used in the shower or bath. The soap glove device comprises a body component that is configured in a glove shape with five individual finger/thumb portions and a center portion connecting them together. The body component comprises a direct soap layer applied onto the outer surface of the body component or integrated directly into the body component. The soap is available through natural rubbing actions of the body component, without need for manual activation. The user puts the glove device on in the shower or bath, then wets the gloved hand with water and rubs it over their body, creating a lather. Thus, the soap is lathered and applied to the body with ease.

a body component; and a soap layer; wherein the body component is configured in a glove shape with finger and thumb sections; wherein the soap layer is applied onto an outer surface of the body component or integrated directly into the body component; and further wherein natural rubbing actions of the body component activates the soap layer, creating a lather which can be applied to a user's body while showering.
2 . The soap glove device of claim 1 , wherein the body component comprises a palm front, a palm back, a thumb section, four separate finger sections, and an elastic wrist section, all of which define an interior space.
3 . The soap glove device of claim 2 , wherein the body component is designed for receiving a hand of a user into the interior space.
4 . The soap glove device of claim 3 , wherein each of the four separate finger sections is designed for receiving a user's finger and the thumb section is designed for receiving a user's thumb when the hand of the user is positioned in the interior space of the body component.
5 . The soap glove device of claim 4 , wherein the four separate finger sections and the thumb section include an open end which exposes a user's fingers and thumb.
6 . The soap glove device of claim 4 , wherein the four separate finger sections and the thumb section include a closed end which covers a user's fingers and thumb.
7 . The soap glove device of claim 4 , wherein the body component is configured to fit on a left hand of the user.
8 . The soap glove device of claim 4 , wherein the body component is configured to fit on a right hand of the user.
9 . The soap glove device of claim 4 , wherein the soap layer is a gel, tacky, or solid layer that foams, creams, or froths when water is applied.
10 . The soap glove device of claim 9 , wherein the soap layer is a solid, non-tacky layer that foams when wet and manual rubbing is applied.
11 . The soap glove device of claim 9 , wherein the soap layer is a gel or cream layer that is tacky and carries a release liner that is removed before use.
12 . The soap glove device of claim 9 , wherein the body component is disposable.
13 . A soap glove device that provides a user with a bathing glove that may be used in the shower or bath, the soap glove device comprising:
a body component comprising a palm front, a palm back, a thumb section, four separate finger sections, and an elastic wrist section, all of which define an interior space; and a soap layer that is a gel, tacky, or solid layer that foams, creams, or froths when water is applied; wherein the body component is designed for receiving a hand of a user into the interior space; wherein each of the four separate finger sections is designed for receiving a user's finger and the thumb section is designed for receiving a user's thumb when the hand of the user is positioned in the interior space of the body component; wherein the soap layer is applied onto an outer surface of the body component or integrated directly into the body component; wherein natural rubbing actions of the body component activates the soap layer, creating a lather which can be applied to a user's body while showering; and further wherein the body component is disposable.
14 . The soap glove device of claim 13 , wherein the body component comprises a middle pocket that retains soap within the body component.
15 . The soap glove device of claim 14 , wherein the palm front comprises a release button that is depressed for releasing soap from the middle pocket.
16 . The soap glove device of claim 15 , wherein the palm front comprises a plurality of holes which act to release the soap when the release button is depressed.
17 . The soap glove device of claim 13 , wherein multiple soap glove devices are packaged together in different size quantities.
18 . The soap glove device of claim 13 , wherein a rope, a strap, or a lanyard is attached to the wrist section of the body component so that the soap glove device can be hung from a shower head or similar object when not in use.
19 . The soap glove device of claim 13 further comprising a plurality of indicia.
20 . A method of showering with a soap glove, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a soap glove device comprising a body component with an integrated soap layer; inserting a user's hand into the body component; wetting the body component while in a shower; rubbing the wet body component on the user's body to create a lather with the integrated soap layer; and showering with the lathered soap glove device.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
