Abstract

A furniture set is provided that can be reconfigured into various arrangements. The furniture set includes a chair, a frame and cushion, and one or more tables, that may function as a chair, sitting desk, standing desk, and/or a lounge chair.

1 . A set of furniture comprising
 a chair having a frame and a cushion,   a table having a base and tabletop,   the set of furniture having a first state with the tabletop supported by the base to form a table, and   the set of furniture having a second state with the tabletop supported by the chair to form a desk.   
     
     
         2 . The set of furniture of  claim 1 , wherein the base is supported by the chair and the tabletop is supported by the base when the set of furniture is in the second state. 
     
     
         3 . The set of furniture of  claim 1 , wherein the tabletop is positioned vertically adjacent to the chair when the set of furniture is in the second state. 
     
     
         4 . The set of furniture of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the chair and table includes at least one slot and at least one of the table and chair includes at least one stud positioned in the at least one slot when the set of furniture is in the second state and spaced apart from the at least one slot with the set of furniture is in the first state. 
     
     
         5 . The set of furniture of  claim 4 , wherein the chair includes the at least one slot and the table includes the at least one stud. 
     
     
         6 . The set of furniture of  claim 1 , wherein the chair includes a base, a pair of armrests supported by the base, and a pair of armrest cushions, the pair of armrests cushions cover the pair of armrests by a first amount when the set of furniture is the first state, and the pair of armrests cover the armrest by a second amount when the set of furniture is in the second state. 
     
     
         7 . The set of furniture of  claim 6 , wherein the second amount is zero. 
     
     
         8 . A method of arranging a set of furniture comprising the steps of
 providing a chair and table, the table having a tabletop and base,   positioning the table away from the chair, and   supporting the tabletop on the chair to create a desk.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein the chair includes a base and a pair of armrests supported by the base and the tabletop is supported by the pair of armrests. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein the base of the table is supported by the pair of armrests. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein the base of the table is spaced apart from the chair during the supporting step. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein the base of the table is positioned between the tabletop and chair during the supporting step. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein chair includes at least one slot and the table includes at least one stud, the at least one stud is positioned in the at least one slot during the supporting step and the at least one stud is spaced apart from the at least one slot after the positioning step. 
     
     
         14 . A method of arranging a chair comprising the steps of
 providing a chair having a frame and a cushion, the cushion including a first portion configured to support the back of a person, a second portion configured to support the posterior of a person, and a third portion foldable under the seat portion,   positioning the cushion on the frame with the first portion positioned to support a back of a person, the second portion positioned to support to support a posterior of a person, and the third portion folded under the second portion to create a first person support length defined by the first and second portions of the cushion, and   unfolding the cushion to create a second person support length defined by the first, second, and third portions of the cushion, the second person support length being greater than the first person support length.   
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising the steps of
 removing the cushion from the frame and   placing the cushion on a floor to be used as a mat.   
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the providing step further includes providing a table, further comprising the steps of placing the third portion of the cushion on the table.
