Pocket Square Insert Device

Abstract

A pocket square insert device is provided that provides a formed and secured pocket square in a desired shape, and is comprised of an insert, inner sleeve, outer sleeve, piece of fabric, a brad, and decorative button. The insert features a longitudinal opening for adjustable positioning of the inner sleeve. A fabric attaches to the inner sleeve, wherein the fabric can be shaped into various folds and secured to the inner sleeve using adhesives. The outer sleeve attaches to the inner sleeve, and both sleeves have openings aligned to secure with the brad through the opening of the insert and interior sleeve, allowing longitudinal adjustment of the sleeves and fabric. As a result, the device facilitates easy manipulation of the sleeves to expose a desired amount of fabric from a jacket pocket, ensuring a polished appearance wherein the shape of the fabric does not change during wear.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A pocket square insert device comprising:
 an insert comprised of a longitudinal opening;   an inner sleeve comprised of a first opening and a second opening;   an outer sleeve comprised of a third opening;   a fabric; and   a fastener.   
     
     
         2 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 1 , wherein the fabric is fixedly attached to an exterior surface of the inner sleeve. 
     
     
         3 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 1 , wherein the fastener is positioned through the first opening, the second opening, and the third opening. 
     
     
         4 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 1 , wherein the outer sleeve is fixedly attached to the inner sleeve and to the fabric. 
     
     
         5 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 1 , wherein the insert is comprised of a rigid material or a semi-rigid material. 
     
     
         6 . A pocket square insert device comprising:
 an insert comprised of a longitudinal opening;   an inner sleeve comprised of a first opening and a second opening;   an outer sleeve comprised of a third opening;   a fabric attached to the inner sleeve; and   a brad.   
     
     
         7 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 6 , wherein the insert is comprised of a flexible material. 
     
     
         8 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 6 , wherein the brad is comprised of a decorative button head. 
     
     
         9 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 8 , wherein the decorative button head resembles a gemstone, a natural material, or an artificial material. 
     
     
         10 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 6 , wherein the fabric is secured to an exterior surface of the inner sleeve via an adhesive. 
     
     
         11 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 10 , wherein the adhesive is comprised of a glue, a tape, or a double-sided tape. 
     
     
         12 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 6 , wherein an exterior surface of the outer sleeve is comprised of a texture or a smooth finish. 
     
     
         13 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 12 , wherein the texture is comprised of a raised texture. 
     
     
         14 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 12 , wherein the texture is comprised of a recessed texture. 
     
     
         15 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 6 , wherein the fabric is arranged in a shape. 
     
     
         16 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 15 , wherein the shape is comprised of a square, a puff, a one-point, a two-point, a three-point, a four-point, a scallop, a winged, a crown fold, a presidential fold, a reverse puff, a Dunaway fold, a staircase fold, a rose fold, a shell fold, a fan fold, a pinwheel fold, a pyramid fold, a tulip fold, a double puff, a butterfly fold, a straight fold, a swirl fold, a bow tie fold, a pleat fold, a lotus fold, a diamond fold, a peacock fold, a wave fold, a fountain fold, a pinstripe fold, a spiral fold, an accordion fold, or a leaf fold. 
     
     
         17 . The pocket square insert device of  claim 6 , wherein the fabric is comprised of a silk, a polyester, a wool, a cotton, a linen, a cashmere, a microfiber, a knit, a satin, or a velvet. 
     
     
         18 . A method of using a pocket square insert device, the method comprising:
 providing a pocket square insert device comprised of an insert comprised of a longitudinal opening, an inner sleeve, an outer sleeve, a fabric, and a fastener;   securing the fabric in a desired shape to an exterior surface of the inner sleeve;   securing the outer sleeve to the inner sleeve;   placing the fastener through the longitudinal opening, through a first opening of the inner sleeve, and a third opening of the outer sleeve, through a second opening of the inner sleeve and fastening the fastener to secure the insert, inner sleeve, and outer sleeve together; and   manipulating the outer sleeve longitudinally within the longitudinal opening to expose a desired amount of the fabric outside of the pocket and then placing the pocket square insert device into a pocket.   
     
     
         19 . The method of using a pocket square insert device of  claim 18 , wherein the fastener is comprised of a brad. 
     
     
         20 . The method of using a pocket square insert device of  claim 18 , comprised of placing a decorative button on the brad.
