Abstract
The present invention is a different abilities doll that has a disability such as a hearing or vision impairment requiring corrective devices. The doll may have a birthmark or scarring. The doll could have an injury requiring the use of a cast or splint. The doll may have a disability requiring the use of a port. The present invention provides dolls with various disabilities that children with those disabilities can relate to and feel represented.

2 . The doll of claim 1 wherein the disability is a hearing impairment requiring the use of a cochlear implant.
3 . The doll of claim 1 wherein the disability is a vision impairment requiring the use of eyeglasses.
4 . The doll of claim 1 wherein the disability is a birthmark.
5 . The doll of claim 1 wherein the disability is scarring.
6 . The doll of claim 1 wherein the disability is an injury requiring the use of a device to immobilize injured bones.

The doll of claim 1 wherein the disability requires the use of a port for a purpose selected from the group consisting of administering of intravenous fluids, performing blood transfusions, administering pharmaceutical drugs, performing blood draws, reducing the need for repeated needle sticks, and preventing blood clotting and infections.
