Abstract

A cartridge for an aerosol generating device includes a reservoir configured to store an aerosol generating material, and a vibrator configured to generate vibration to atomize the aerosol generating material, wherein the vibrator may include a body configured to generate vibration, an electrode layer stacked on at least one surface of the body, and a coating layer stacked in a partial area of the electrode layer and formed of a light absorbing material.

1 . A cartridge for an aerosol generating device, the cartridge comprising:
 a reservoir configured to store an aerosol generating material; and   a vibrator configured to generate vibration to atomize the aerosol generating material,   wherein the vibrator comprises:   a body configured to generate the vibration;   an electrode layer stacked on at least one surface of the body; and   a coating layer stacked in a partial area of the electrode layer and formed of a light absorbing material.   
     
     
         2 . The cartridge of  claim 1 , wherein
 the vibrator comprises the electrode layer in plurality,   wherein a plurality of electrode layers comprise:   a first electrode layer formed on one surface of the body of the vibrator; and   a second electrode layer formed on the other surface, opposite to the one surface, of the body of the vibrator.   
     
     
         3 . The cartridge of  claim 2 , wherein
 the coating layer is stacked on the second electrode layer.   
     
     
         4 . The cartridge of  claim 2 , wherein
 the vibrator further comprises a shield layer stacked in a partial area of the first electrode layer and formed of a non-conductive material.   
     
     
         5 . The cartridge of  claim 4 , wherein
 the shield layer comprises a water-repellent material to prevent the vibrator from absorbing the aerosol generating material.   
     
     
         6 . The cartridge of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a transmission member configured to receive the aerosol generating material from the reservoir and atomize the aerosol generating material by vibration of the vibrator,   wherein the vibrator comprises a first surface facing the transmission member and a second surface opposite to the first surface.   
     
     
         7 . The cartridge of  claim 6 , wherein
 the coating layer is stacked to overlap a substantial center of the second surface of the vibrator.   
     
     
         8 . The cartridge of  claim 6 , wherein
 the coating layer occupies 50% or larger of an area of the second surface of the vibrator.   
     
     
         9 . The cartridge of  claim 6 , wherein
 the coating layer comprises:   a first coating area stacked to overlap a substantial center of the second surface of the vibrator; and   a second coating area stacked to overlap a substantial periphery of the second surface of the vibrator.   
     
     
         10 . The cartridge of  claim 1 , wherein
 the coating layer comprises a dye having a reflectance smaller than 50%, and is formed of glass, ceramic, a polymer, or a combination thereof.   
     
     
         11 . The cartridge of  claim 1 , wherein
 the coating layer is formed of a combination of a dye having a reflectance smaller than 50% and substantially a same material as the body of the vibrator.   
     
     
         12 . An aerosol generating device comprising:
 a reservoir configured to store an aerosol generating material;   a vibrator configured to generate vibration to atomize the aerosol generating material; and   a temperature sensor configured to sense a temperature of the vibrator,   wherein the vibrator comprises:   a body configured to generate the vibration;   an electrode layer stacked on at least one surface of the body; and   a coating layer stacked in a partial area of the electrode layer and formed of a light absorbing material,   wherein the coating layer is stacked in a partial area, facing the temperature sensor, of the electrode layer.   
     
     
         13 . A method of manufacturing a vibrator, the method comprising:
 disposing a body of a vibrator configured to generate vibration when a current is supplied thereto;   depositing an electrode layer on one surface and the other surface, opposite to the one surface, of the body;   depositing a coating layer formed of a light absorbing material on a partial area of the electrode layer deposited on the one surface of the body; and   performing heat treatment on the body, the electrode layer, and the coating layer.   
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 13 , further comprising:
 prior to the depositing of the coating layer,   forming the coating layer by combining a dye having a reflectance smaller than 50% with glass, ceramic, a polymer, or a combination thereof.   
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 13 , further comprising:
 prior to the depositing of the coating layer,   forming the coating layer by combining a dye having a reflectance smaller than 50% with substantially a same material as the body of the vibrator.
