Sheet feed device and image forming apparatus

Abstract

A sheet feed device includes an accommodating section that is provided so as to be pulled out in a pull-out direction intersecting a sheet feeding direction of a housing and that accommodates a recording medium; a concave portion that is provided with a concave shape toward the sheet feeding direction of the recording medium on a front side in the pull-out direction; and a protruding portion that is provided on the accommodating section side so that a member protrudes relative to the concave portion when the concave portion is viewed from the front side to a back side in the pull-out direction.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A sheet feed device comprising:
 an accommodating section that is provided so as to be pulled out in a pull-out direction intersecting a sheet feeding direction of a housing and that accommodates a recording medium;   a concave portion that is provided with a concave shape toward the sheet feeding direction of the recording medium on a front side in the pull-out direction; and   a protruding portion that is provided on the accommodating section side so that a member protrudes relative to the concave portion when the concave portion is viewed from the front side to a back side in the pull-out direction.   
     
     
         2 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the protruding portion is provided in a non-sheet passing region of the recording medium fed from the accommodating section.   
     
     
         3 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the protruding portion has an inclined surface that inclines from the back side toward the front side along the pull-out direction.   
     
     
         4 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 an end portion of the protruding portion on the front side along the pull-out direction protrudes relative to an end edge of the concave portion.   
     
     
         5 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 4 , wherein
 the protruding portion inclines toward a sheet passing region from an upstream side toward a downstream side along the sheet feeding direction.   
     
     
         6 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the protruding portion is provided so as to protrude in a triangular pyramid shape on the back side of the concave portion along the pull-out direction.   
     
     
         7 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 6 , wherein
 a vertex of the triangular pyramid shape of the protruding portion is disposed inside the concave portion.   
     
     
         8 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the protruding portion is provided integrally with a guide member curved so as to guide the recording medium fed from the accommodating section upward along a vertical direction.   
     
     
         9 . The sheet feed device according to  claim 8 , wherein
 the protruding portion is provided in a curved portion of the guide member.   
     
     
         10 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 1  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         11 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 2  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         12 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 3  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         13 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 4  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         14 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 5  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         15 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 6  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         16 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 7  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         17 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to  claim 8  is used as the sheet feed unit.   
     
     
         18 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 a sheet feed unit that feeds an accommodated recording medium; and   an image forming unit that forms an image on the recording medium fed from the sheet feed unit, wherein   the sheet feed device according to claim  9  is used as the sheet feed unit.
