Vacuum decoration system
Abstract
A vacuum decoration system for removably attaching an ornamentation to a robotic vacuum includes an ornamentation having an exterior surface and a coupler releasably coupling the ornamentation to the robotic vacuum. The coupler generally includes a pair of mating members that are releasably coupled to each other. One of the mating members is attached to the exterior surface and the other of the mating members is attached to the robotic vacuum. The ornamentation may have any shape or design, such as a figurine, a religious symbol, a holiday themed symbol, or a symbol that represents a hobby or pastime. The ornamentation may also include a plurality of battery-operated lights.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A decorative attachment system, comprising:
a robotic vacuum having a top surface; an ornamentation having an exterior surface; a coupler releasably coupling the ornamentation to the top surface; and the coupler comprising a pair of mating members being releasably coupled to each other, one of the mating members being attached to the exterior surface and the other of the mating members being attached to the top surface.
2 . The decorative attachment system of claim 1 , wherein one of the mating members defines a female coupler and the other of the mating members defines a male coupler.
3 . The decorative attachment system of claim 2 , the female coupler further comprising a plate and a sleeve extending away from the plate.
4 . The decorative attachment system of claim 3 , wherein the sleeve has a cylindrical shape.
5 . The decorative attachment system of claim 3 , the male coupler further comprising:
a rod being removably extendable into the sleeve; a pair of pins being positioned on the rod and extending laterally outwardly therefrom, the pair of pins extending in opposite directions with respect to each other; and the sleeve including a pair of slots positioned therein to releasably receive the pair of pins.
6 . The decorative attachment system of claim 5 , further comprising a plurality of stops being mounted to the sleeve, each of the pair of slots having an edge having at least one of the stops positioned thereon to retain the pins within a respective one of the pair of slots.
7 . The decorative attachment system of claim 3 , further comprising an adhesive securing the coupler to the top surface.
8 . The decorative attachment system of claim f, wherein the adhesive is positioned on the plate opposite the sleeve.
9 . The decorative attachment system of claim 1 , further comprising a light emitter being mounted on the ornamentation.
10 . The decorative attachment system of claim 9 , further comprising a power supply being attached to the ornamentation.
11 . The decorative attachment system of claim 10 , the power supply further comprising a battery positioned within the ornamentation.
12 . The decorative attachment system of claim 10 , further comprising a switch being electrically coupled to the power supply and light emitter, the switch being actuated to turn the light emitter on or off.
13 . The decorative attachment system of claim 12 , wherein the switch is mounted on the ornamentation.
14 . A decorative attachment system, comprising:
a robotic vacuum having a top surface; an ornamentation having an exterior surface; a coupler releasably coupling the ornamentation to the top surface; an adhesive securing the coupler to the top surface; the coupler comprising a pair of mating members being releasably coupled to each other, one of the mating members being attached to the exterior surface and the other of the mating members being attached to the top surface; one of the mating members defining a female coupler; one of the mating members defining a male coupler; the female coupler including a plate and a sleeve extending away from the plate, the sleeve having a cylindrical shape; the male coupler including:
a rod being removably extendable into the sleeve;
a pair of pins being positioned on the rod and extending laterally outwardly therefrom, the pair of pins extending in opposite directions with respect to each other;
the sleeve including a pair of slots positioned therein to releasably receive the pair of pins;
a plurality of stops being mounted to the sleeve, each of the pair of slots having an edge having at least one of the plurality of stops positioned thereon to retain a one of the pair of pins within a respective one of the pair of slots; the adhesive being positioned on the plate opposite of the sleeve; a light emitter being mounted on the ornamentation; a power supply being attached to the ornamentation, the power supply comprising a battery positioned within the ornamentation; and a switch being electrically coupled to the power supply and light emitter, the switch being actuated to turn the light emitter on or off, the switch being mounted on the ornamentation.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
