Abstract

The invention (T-HiteMaster™) is a “Golf Tee Height Setting Device” that works with standard tees to maintain a consistent tee height for tee off, thereby eliminating the need for any custom height tees. This device allows golfers to set their ideal tee height with high precision on the driving range or on simulators and maintain it consistently on the golf course. Holding the tee in the device with two fingers is easy and comfortable. Pressing the tee into the ground is effortless because of force being applied along the axis of the tee. Its compact & lightweight design makes it a comfortable fit in the pocket. It also has a storage pocket for storing the tee after use. This innovative device comes in three color-coded variants that are suitable for driver, wood & iron.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 . A new and improved golf tee height setting device for accurately setting tee height using standard tees.

2 . Golf tee height setting device comprising of only three concentric components
 a) Housing—that provides a reference from the ground for setting the tee height b) Thumbwheel Screw—that serves as an end stop for maintaining the tee height c) Locknut—that locks the thumbwheel screw after the tee height has been set.

3 . Golf tee height setting device comes in three product variants that are suitable for driver, wood & iron.

4 . Housing of claim 2 is a lightweight component manufactured from high grade aluminum 6061.

5 . Housing of claim 2 has a large inner diameter that makes it compatible with standard tees having different ball resting diameters.

6 . Housing of claim 2 has a large inner diameter that allows the device to be used on simulator or driving range mats. Rubber tees protruding out of the mats (that hold the standard tee) do not interfere with the device.

7 . Housing of claim 2 has a tee height reference face that is close to the tee and all around it. This reduces tee height variations because of ground inclination or imperfections.

8 . Housing of claim 2 has two large window openings opposite to each other for conveniently holding the tee in the device with two fingers.

9 . Housing of claim 2 has top and bottom markings on the outer diameter to indicate the adjustment range of the thumbwheel screw and a middle marking to indicate the ideal or recommended tee height setting.

10 . Thumbwheel screw of claim 2 is a sturdy, lightweight component manufactured from high grade aluminum 6061 for durability.

11 . Thumbwheel screw of claim 2 has a radius of 21.3 mm on the surface that contacts the tee. This radius is the same as a golf ball radius to ensure that ball center height is always maintained irrespective of the ball resting diameter on the tee.

12 . Thumbwheel screw of claim 2 has a fine pitch thread for precision tee height adjustment.

13 . Thumbwheel screw of claim 2 has a pocket for storing the tee after use. This is a convenience feature provided in the device.

14 . Locknut of claim 2 is a sturdy & lightweight component manufactured from high grade aluminum 6061 for durability.

15 . Locknut of claim 2 has a large outer diameter for ease in tightening by hand.
