Abstract

A head veil to protect makeup on the face of a wearer from coming into contact with their clothing is disclosed. The veil has a front sash, a rear sash and a headband between the front and rear sash to keep the head veil in position on the head of the wearer. The veil has a tunnel pocket for the headband to be positioned within the veil, so that the headband can be removed when the veil is to be washed.

1 . A head veil to protect makeup on a wearer's face from coming into contact with the clothing of the wearer, the head veil comprising:
 (a) a front sash;   (b) a rear sash; and   (c) a headband between the front and rear sash to keep the head veil in position on a wearer's head,
 wherein the veil has a tunnel pocket for the headband to be positioned within the head veil, so that the headband can be removed when the head veil is washed. 
   
     
     
         2 . The veil of  claim 1 , wherein the front sash has elasticised sides so that the front sash cups the wearer's face. 
     
     
         3 . The veil of  claim 1 , wherein the front sash and rear sash are made of satin. 
     
     
         4 . The veil of  claim 1 , wherein the front sash and rear sash are made of silk.
