Sweatshirt with weighting materials dispersed in pattern elements

Abstract

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a weighted sweatshirt, comprising: one or more pattern elements; and one or more weighting materials, wherein the weighting materials are dispersed inside the pattern elements.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A weighted sweatshirt, comprising:
 one or more pattern elements; and   one or more weighting materials,   wherein the weighting materials are dispersed inside the pattern elements.   
     
     
         2 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , wherein the weighting materials comprise recycled materials. 
     
     
         3 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , wherein the weighting materials comprise glass beads. 
     
     
         4 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , wherein the weighting materials comprise fabric. 
     
     
         5 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , wherein the weighting materials comprise yarn. 
     
     
         6 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , wherein the weighting materials comprise thread. 
     
     
         7 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , wherein the weighting materials comprise plastic beads. 
     
     
         8 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , further comprising a hood. 
     
     
         9 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , further comprising a pocket. 
     
     
         10 . The sweatshirt of  claim 1 , wherein the weighting materials are covered by a transparent layer allowing for the weighting materials to be visible to a human observer. 
     
     
         11 . A method of fitting a weighted sweatshirt to a person, comprising:
 taking one or more measurements of the person; and   providing a weighted sweatshirt based on the measurements.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein providing a weighted sweatshirt based on the measurements comprises tailoring a stock sweatshirt. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 10 , wherein providing a weighted sweatshirt based on the measurements comprises custom producing a sweatshirt from one or more fabrics. 
     
     
         14 . A method of selecting a weighted sweatshirt for a person, comprising:
 assessing one or more mental health symptoms of the person; and   providing a weighted sweatshirt based on the measurements.   
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14 , further taking one or more measurements of the person and providing a weighted sweatshirt based in part on the measurements.
