Abstract
A pouch for an aerosol generating device includes a liquid composition that generates an aerosol when heated, and a water-soluble film surrounding the liquid composition.

a liquid composition that generates an aerosol when heated; and a water-soluble film surrounding the liquid composition.

The pouch of claim 1 , wherein the water-soluble film comprises one or more water-soluble polymers selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium alginate, pullulan, xanthan gum, polyethylene oxide, starch or starch derivatives, gelatin, and alkyl cellulose.
3 . The pouch of claim 1 , wherein the water-soluble film comprises one or more additives selected from the group consisting of silicon, silica, calcium chloride, zeolite, and clay.
4 . The pouch of claim 1 , further comprising a support located inside the pouch and configured to support a shape of the pouch.
5 . A vaporizer comprising:
a pouch comprising: a liquid composition that generates an aerosol when heated; and a water-soluble film surrounding the liquid composition; and a heating portion detachably coupled to the pouch and configured to heat the liquid composition.

The vaporizer of claim 5 , wherein the water-soluble film comprises one or more water-soluble polymers selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, sodium alginate, pullulan, xanthan gum, polyethylene oxide, starch or starch derivatives, gelatin, and alkyl cellulose.
7 . The vaporizer of claim 5 , wherein the water-soluble film comprises one or more additives selected from the group consisting of silicon, silica, calcium chloride, zeolite, and clay.
8 . The vaporizer of claim 5 , further comprising a support located inside the pouch and configured to support a shape of the pouch.
9 . The vaporizer of claim 5 , wherein the heating portion comprises:
a liquid delivery element configured to deliver the liquid composition; and a heating element configured to heat the liquid composition delivered by the liquid delivery element.
10 . The vaporizer of claim 9 , wherein the heating portion further comprises an insulation portion arranged between the pouch and the heating element, and the liquid delivery element penetrates the insulation portion.
11 . The vaporizer of claim 5 , wherein
the water-soluble film further comprises a first coupling portion for coupling with the heating portion, a hole is formed in the first coupling portion when the first coupling portion is coupled to the heating portion, and the liquid composition is released outside the pouch through the hole formed in the first coupling portion.
12 . The vaporizer of claim 5 , wherein the heating portion further comprises at least one rib, and
the pouch comprises a second coupling portion for coupling with the at least one rib.
13 . The vaporizer of claim 5 , further comprising a pressing portion configured to apply pressure to the pouch in a direction towards the heating portion.
14 . The vaporizer of claim 5 , wherein the heating portion further comprises:
a cover configured to separate the pouch coupled to the heating portion from an outside; and a pressing portion located on an inner surface of the cover and configured to apply pressure to the pouch in a direction towards the heating portion.
15 . An aerosol generating device comprising:
a main body configured to receive an aerosol generating article; and a vaporizer comprising: a pouch comprising a water-soluble film surrounding a liquid composition configured to generate an aerosol when heated; and a heating portion detachably coupled to the pouch and configured to heat the liquid composition, wherein the main body is detachably coupled to the vaporizer, and the aerosol generated by the vaporizer passes through the aerosol generating article.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
