Abstract

A structural forming system includes a base track, a frame, and a hollow flexible air form for the containment of fluid concrete. The frame is coupled to the base track at a first end and is elevated distally from the base track at a second end. The frame includes a plurality of ribs and a frame support having an upper surface. The frame support spanning a distance between the plurality of ribs. A hollow flexible air form contacts the upper surface of the frame support and opposing interior sides of the plurality of ribs. The flexible air form remains exposed along an external surface. The flexible air form includes a port configured to receive air for inflation of the flexible air form. The flexible air form includes an auxiliary port configured to receive fluid concrete.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A structural forming system, comprising:
 a base track;   a frame coupled to the base track at a first end and being elevated distally from the base track at a second end, the frame including a plurality of ribs and a frame support having an upper surface, the frame support spanning a distance between the plurality of ribs; and   a hollow flexible air form contacting the upper surface of the frame support and opposing interior sides of the plurality of ribs, the flexible air form contacting the upper surface of the frame support along an internal surface of the flexible air form, the flexible air form remaining exposed along an external surface,   wherein the flexible air form includes a port configured to receive air for inflation of the flexible air form; and   wherein the flexible air form includes an auxiliary port configured to receive fluid concrete.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the flexible air form creates walls with a curved geometry. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the flexible air form is exposed on at least one side. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the fluid concrete is formed to a particular shape by the flexible air form. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the frame includes a support assembly configured to couple to the second end of the frame, the frame configured to support the second end of the frame above the base track. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a foundation within the base track.   
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 6 , wherein the foundation configured to secure the support assembly. 
     
     
         8 . A method of forming an elevated concrete structure, comprising:
 locating a base track along a surface;   erecting a frame in communication with the base track, the frame including a plurality of ribs oriented such that a first end is in communication with the base track and a second end is elevated above the base track;   coupling a frame support to an upper surface of a flange of the plurality of ribs, the frame support extending between the plurality of ribs between the first end and the second end,   locating a hollow flexible air form above the frame support;   inflating the air form through a port; and   filling the air form with fluid concrete simultaneously while inflating.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the air form is left unsupported on an external face. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the air form is filled with fluid concrete after the air form is fully inflated. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the air form is configured to define the external shape of the fluid concrete. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the air form is retained around the concrete after the fluid concrete sets. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising erecting a support assembly adjacent the second end of the frame. 
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising laying a foundation at least partially encompassing the base track.
