Abstract
A fiber for hair, having a base fiber, and a cationic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant which are present in at least a part of a surface of the base fiber, in which the cationic surfactant has a carbon chain having 18 to 22 carbon atoms, the nonionic surfactant has a carbon chain having 10 to 20 carbon atoms, an HLB value of the nonionic surfactant is 14.0 to 19.0, a content of the cationic surfactant is 3 to 20% by mass based on the total amount of the nonionic surfactant, and a total amount of the cationic surfactant and the nonionic surfactant is 0.002 to 4% by mass based on the total amount of the fiber for hair.

the cationic surfactant has a carbon chain having 18 to 22 carbon atoms, the nonionic surfactant has a carbon chain having 10 to 20 carbon atoms, an HLB value of the nonionic surfactant is 14.0 to 19.0, a content of the cationic surfactant is 3 to 20% by mass based on a total amount of the nonionic surfactant, and
a total amount of the cationic surfactant and the nonionic surfactant is 0.002 to 4% by mass based on a total amount of the fiber for hair.

The fiber for hair according to claim 1 , wherein the base fiber contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a homopolymer of vinyl chloride, a vinyl chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer, polyethylene terephthalate, a polyamide-based resin, polypropylene, and an acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer.
3 . The fiber for hair according to claim 1 , wherein the cationic surfactant includes a quaternary ammonium salt having a cation with a structure represented by General Formula (1) below:
[in Formula (1), R 11 represents a group containing a carbon chain having 18 to 22 carbon atoms, and R 12 , R 13 , and R 14 each independently represent a monovalent group].
4 . The fiber for hair according to claim 3 , wherein the cationic surfactant includes a quaternary ammonium salt in which R 12 and R 13 are a methyl group in the General Formula (1).

The fiber for hair according to claim 1 , wherein the nonionic surfactant includes a compound having at least one selected from the group consisting of a structure represented by General Formula (2a) below, a structure represented by General Formula (2b) below, a structure represented by General Formula (2c) below, and a structure represented by General Formula (2d) below:
[in the formula, R 21a , R 21b , R 21c , and R 21d each independently represent a hydrophobic moiety containing a carbon chain having 10 to 20 carbon atoms, R 22a , R 22b , R 22c , R 23c , and R 22d each independently represent a hydrophilic moiety, and R 23d represents a hydrophobic moiety or a hydrophilic moiety].
6 . The fiber for hair according to claim 1 , wherein the nonionic surfactant includes polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether.
7 . A headdress article comprising the fiber for hair according to claim 1 .
8 . A fiber treating agent comprising: a cationic surfactant; a nonionic surfactant; and water, wherein
the cationic surfactant has a carbon chain having 18 to 22 carbon atoms, the nonionic surfactant has a carbon chain having 10 to 20 carbon atoms, an HLB value of the nonionic surfactant is 14.0 to 19.0, a content of the cationic surfactant is 3 to 20% by mass based on the total amount of the nonionic surfactant, and a total amount of the cationic surfactant and the nonionic surfactant is 0.1 to 40% by mass based on the total amount of the fiber treating agent.
