Abstract

A mold moving device for a forged product forming machine includes a base unit, a transmission mechanism, a guiding member, a mold seat, and a plurality of pressing molds. The guiding member is driven by the transmission mechanism to rotate, and has an outer peripheral surface formed with a plurality of guiding grooves extending in a serpentine manner. The mold seat includes a rotary shaft, a rotating member, and a carrying member on which the pressing molds are mounted. The rotating member is connected to the rotary shaft, and includes a disk body portion and a plurality of projecting rods protruding toward the guiding member. When the guiding member rotates, the guiding grooves respectively engage selected ones of the projecting rods in a manner where the selected ones of the projecting rods respectively slide along the guiding grooves, thereby driving the disk body portion to rotate.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A mold moving device adapted for a forged product forming machine, comprising:
a base unit; a transmission mechanism disposed on said base unit; and a plurality of pressing molds; a guiding member rotatably mounted to said base unit, and including a tubular body portion that is driven by said transmission mechanism to rotate, and that has an outer peripheral surface formed with a plurality of guiding grooves, and two ends axially opposite to each other, each of said guiding grooves extending between said ends of said tubular body portion in a serpentine manner; and a mold seat including
a rotary shaft that is rotatably mounted in said base unit,
a rotating member that is coaxially connected to one end of said rotary shaft, that faces said guiding member, and that includes a disk body portion and a plurality of projecting rods protruding from said disk body portion toward said guiding member in directions parallel to said rotary shaft, and angularly spaced apart from each other, and
 a carrying member that is coaxially connected to another end of said rotary shaft;
said pressing molds detachably mounted on said carrying member and angularly spaced apart from each other; and when said guiding member rotates, said guiding grooves respectively engage selected ones of said projecting rods in a manner where said selected ones of said projecting rods respectively slide along said guiding grooves, thereby driving said disk body portion to rotate via movement of said selected ones of said projecting rods.

2 . The mold moving device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a rotational axis of said tube body portion of said guiding member is perpendicular to and is not coplanar with a rotational axis of said disk body portion of said rotating member.

3 . The mold moving device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein:
said rotary shaft of said mold seat has
a shaft body portion having one end co-rotatably connected to said disk body portion of said rotating member, and
a plurality of driving teeth protruding from another end of said shaft body portion toward said carrying member; and
   said carrying member includes
a seat body fastened to said shaft body portion,
a plurality of driven teeth extending from said seat body toward said shaft body portion and engaging said driving teeth, and
a bearing head portion extending from said seat body in a direction opposite to said driven teeth, said pressing molds being detachably mounted on said bearing head portion.

4 . The mold moving device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said base unit includes
a main seat body defining a through slot, and a bushing rotatably disposed in said through slot, and surrounding and covering said rotary shaft and at least a portion of said carrying member.

5 . The mold moving device as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said transmission mechanism includes
a power source, a driving shaft rotatably mounted to said main seat body of said base unit and connected to be driven by said power source to rotate, a driving gear co-rotatably connected to said driving shaft, a driven shaft rotatably mounted to said main seat body and co-rotatably connected to said tubular body portion of said guiding member, and a driven gear meshing with said driving gear and co-rotatably connected to said driven shaft such that said guiding member is rotated through engagement between said driven gear and said driving gear during rotation of said driving shaft.

6 . The mold moving device as claimed in claim 4 , wherein:
said main seat body of said base unit further defines a mounting space in spatial communication with said through slot; and said base unit further includes a mounting seat detachably mounted in said mounting space, and a portion of said carrying member that is not surrounded by said bushing is rotatably received in said mounted seat.

7 . The mold moving device as claimed in claim 6 , wherein:
said mounting seat of said base unit has
two straight surfaces transverse to and connected to each other, and
a guiding inclined surface connected to one of said straight surfaces and extending inclinedly relative to the other one of said straight surfaces; and
   said base unit further includes
two cushion blocks disposed in said mounting space and respectively abutting against said straight surfaces, and
a limiting block movably disposed in said mounting space and abutting against said guiding inclined surface.
