Slip cover for security bag

Abstract

A slipcover than can be slid over a security bag or game day bag such that the contents of the security bag or game day bag, having transparent panels, can be obstructed from view.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus comprising:
 a container comprising:
 one or more panels adjoined together to define a first void on an interior of the one or more panels, with at least one of the one or more panels being constructed of a transparent material; 
 the one or more panels defining a top perimeter edge that provides an opening into the void, wherein the void can be accessed; 
 one or more straps that extend above the perimeter edge; and 
   a slipcover comprising:
 a foldable opaque material that defines a second void within an interior of the slipcover, defines a top edge, defines a bottom, and that is dimensioned such that the container can be slid into the second void; 
 a first opening along the bottom; 
 a second opening in a first side of the slipcover proximate to the top edge; and 
 a third opening in a second side of the slipcover proximate to the top edge; 
   wherein the slipcover can be placed over the container by sliding the container through the first opening and extending the one or more straps of the container through one of the second or third openings of the slipcover, whereby the contents of the container normally visible through the at least one or more panels constructed of transparent material are shielded from view by the slipcover.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the container is substantially rectangularly shaped. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the container includes two straps. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the slipcover is a disposable plastic shopping bag and the first opening is a cut along the bottom edge of the disposable plastic shopping bag. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the slipcover is manufactured out of a cloth material. 
     
     
         6 . A method for obstructing the view of contents within a container, wherein the container comprises one or more panels adjoined together to define a container interior, with at least one of the one or more panels being constructed of a transparent material, and two straps extendable above the container, the method comprising the actions of:
 creating a slipcover comprising:
 a foldable opaque material that defines an interior void, defines a top edge, defines a bottom, and that is dimensioned such that the container can be slid into the interior void; 
 a first opening along the bottom; 
 a second opening in a first side of the slipcover proximate to the top edge; and 
 a third opening in a second side of the slipcover proximate to the top edge; 
   wherein the slipcover can be placed over the container by sliding the container through the first opening and extending the one or more straps of the container through the second opening and one of the one or more straps of the container through the third opening.   
     
     
         7 . A method for obstructing the view of contents within a container, wherein the container comprises one or more panels adjoined together to define a container interior, with at least one of the one or more panels being constructed of a transparent material, and two straps extendable above the container, the method comprising the actions of:
 obtaining a disposable plastic shopping bag constructed of opaque material and having a first handle and a second handle, wherein the disposable plastic shopping bag and the first handle define a first opening and the disposable plastic shopping bag and the second handle define a second opening;   creating a hole in a bottom surface of the disposable plastic shopping bag;   sliding the container into an interior of the disposable plastic shopping back through the hole in the bottom surface; and   inserting one the straps of the container through the first opening and the other one of the straps of the container through the second opening.
