Apparel items with magnet

Abstract

Apparel items each having a magnet thereon are provided. More particularly, apparel items each having a magnet thereon are provided wherein a first person may wear a first apparel item and a second person may wear a second apparel item and the magnets on the first and second apparel items engage when the first person and the second person make physical contact.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A pair of apparel items comprising:
 a first apparel item having a first magnet; and   a second apparel item having a second magnet;   wherein the first magnet and the second magnet are positioned such that they engage when the first apparel item is worn by a first person and the second apparel item is worn by a second person.   
     
     
         2 . The pair of apparel items of  claim 1 , wherein the apparel items are sweatshirts and wherein the first magnet is positioned on a sleeve of the first sweatshirt and the second magnet is positioned on a sleeve of the second sweatshirt. 
     
     
         3 . The pair of apparel items of  claim 2 , wherein, as worn, the sleeves of the sweatshirts extend over at least a portion of a wearer's palm and wherein the magnets are provided on an area of the sleeve extended over the wearer's palm. 
     
     
         4 . The pair of apparel items of  claim 1 , wherein the magnets are neodymium magnets. 
     
     
         5 . The pair of apparel items of  claim 1 , wherein the apparel items are gloves.
