Tile leveling device and method for using the same

Abstract

A tile leveling device and a method for using the same is shown and described. The method for using a tile leveling device begins by placing at least one tile leveling device beneath a tile to be laid. In one instance the at least one tile leveling device is comprised of a malleable metal material. After the at least one tile leveling device is placed a tile is then set on top of the at least one tile leveling device. The tile is then leveled. When the tile is placed the tile leveling device is left under the tile and there is no need to remove the device.

1 ) A tile leveling device, the device comprising:
 a sphere made of a first material;   the first material is made from a malleable material that is reshaped by applying a reasonable force;   wherein   the tile leveling device is separate from the tile and is positioned at any location on a lower surface of the tile.   
     
     
         2 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 1 , wherein the materials malleability is such that the material will compress under a first pressure but will not compress under a second pressure;
 wherein the first pressure is higher than the second pressure.   
     
     
         3 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 2 , wherein the first pressure is more than 24 Newtons. 
     
     
         4 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 1 , wherein the first material is a metal material. 
     
     
         5 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 1 , wherein the first material is a plastic material. 
     
     
         6 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 1 , wherein the first material is a rubber material. 
     
     
         7 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 1 , further comprising a colorant added to the first material. 
     
     
         8 ) A tile leveling device, the device comprising:
 a cylinder made of a first material;   the first material is made from a malleable material that is reshaped by applying a reasonable force;   wherein   the tile leveling device is separate from the tile and is positioned at any location on a lower surface of the tile.   
     
     
         9 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 8 , wherein the materials malleability is such that the material will compress under a first pressure but will not compress under a second pressure;
 wherein the first pressure is higher than the second pressure.   
     
     
         10 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 9 , wherein the first pressure is more than 24 Newtons. 
     
     
         11 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 8 , wherein the first material is a metal material. 
     
     
         12 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 8 , wherein the first material is a plastic material. 
     
     
         13 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 8 , wherein the first material is a rubber material. 
     
     
         14 ) The tile leveling device of  claim 8 , further comprising a colorant added to the first material.
