Abstract

A reliable leakage resistant inflatable container is disclosed having outer construction container shape of a vertical extrusion formed from a non-rectangular closed polygon base such that an inflatable container lateral side surface is conformably angular to an adjacent container lateral surface such that an external applied pressure to a liquid filled inflatable container wall will transfer the external pressure to an adjacent lateral surface aligned container wall. A plurality of inflatable containers placed conformably with lateral angular sides in parallel build a structurally fluid filled container wall for a load transferring flood barrier.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable self-supporting flood barrier comprising:
 an inflatable container having liquid impervious material walls with reinforced edges,   the inflatable container edge coupled to loops contiguous with the reinforced container edges,   the inflatable container with a shape formed by a vertical extrusion from a non-rectangular closed polygon base,   the inflatable container with an attached sheet of liquid impervious material, reinforceably attached to the inflatable container base edge, and   two concentric orifices   whereby containers placed lateral side wall-to-lateral-side-wall will enable the lateral sides to complement each other is such a way as to transfer container front wall forces to lateral container side wall from filled container to filled container barrier members such that the internal pressure across the wall of containers will be transferred to the lateral wall of stacked neighbors to reinforce each water container individually by support from neighbor or laterally adjacent filled containers.   
     
     
         2 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  further comprising a container shape by extrusion from a non-rectangular closed polygon base from a set of non-rectangular closed polygons including a triangle, trapezoid, parallelogram, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon and octagon. 
     
     
         3 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  wherein the loops used for coupling a filled inflatable container with at least one adjacent filled inflatable container. 
     
     
         4 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  further comprising the non-rectangular base lateral sides walls in filled container lateral side surface are conformably angular to adjacent container lateral surface such that an external applied pressure to a filled inflatable container front wall will transfer the external pressure to an adjacent lateral surface wall aligned adjacent container lateral surface wall. 
     
     
         5 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  further comprising a duel arrangement cap plug container cap having a stem with cap which is detachable at the base of the stem for an opening to invert the container and also with a stem with at least one plug, with plug mating threads on the cap stem. 
     
     
         6 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  further comprising a duel dual plug container cap having a stem with cap on a stem for an for at least one cap, a cap with mating threads inside of a cap stem and a second plug with mating threads outside of the cap stem. 
     
     
         7 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  further comprising container reinforced container edge loops coupled to adjacent container reinforced loops for continuity and cohesive flood barrier stabilization. 
     
     
         8 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  further comprising fitting coupling reinforced loops with grommets and for insertion of at least one stabilizing rod inserted through the coupling reinforced loops for structurally coupling adjoining containers, the stabilizing rod having finial top diameters greater than a coupled loop diameter to keep the stabilizing rod inserted in the coupling reinforced loops. 
     
     
         9 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  wherein a container wall with reinforceably attached flexible sheet or flap extending substantially along the container wall length and extendable outward from the container for connectivity and stability with adjacent containers. 
     
     
         10 . An inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 1  further comprising liquid impervious material exterior walls with at least one wall surface having raised portions of strips for increasing friction between adjacent surfaces. 
     
     
         11 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier further comprising the steps of:
 providing an inflatable container having liquid impervious material walls reinforced edges,   providing inflatable container having the inflatable container edge coupled to reinforced loops contiguous with the reinforced container edges,   having an inflatable container shape formed by a vertical extrusion from a horizontal non-rectangular closed polygon base having non-rectangular base lateral sides,   providing an inflatable container attached sheet of liquid impervious material, re-enforceably attached to the inflatable container base edge, and   having at least two concentric orifices on a container wall coupled to a cap   
       whereby containers placed lateral side wall-to-lateral-side-wall will enable the lateral sides to complement each other is such a way as to transfer container front wall forces to lateral container side wall from filled container to filled container barrier members such that the internal pressure across the wall of containers will be transferred to the lateral wall of stacked neighbors to reinforce each water container individually by support from neighbor or laterally adjacent filled containers. 
     
     
         12 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 11  further comprising the step of forming a reusable inflatable container shape by extrusion from a non-rectangular closed polygon base from a set of non-rectangular closed polygons including a triangle, trapezoid, parallelogram, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon and octagon. 
     
     
         13 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 11  wherein a container shape is created by extrusion from a non-rectangular closed polygon base from a set of non-rectangular closed polygons including a triangle, trapezoid, parallelogram, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon and octagon. 
     
     
         14 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 11  wherein the loops used for coupling a filled inflatable container with at least one adjacent filled inflatable container. 
     
     
         15 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 11  further comprising the step of providing a container cap having a first plug mating threads inside of a cap stem and a second plug with mating threads outside of the cap stem. 
     
     
         16 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 11  further comprising the step of providing container reinforced edge loops coupled to adjacent container reinforced loops for continuity and cohesive flood barrier stabilization. 
     
     
         17 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 11  further comprising the steps of fitting coupling reinforced loops with grommets and for insertion of at least one stabilizing rod inserted through the coupling reinforced loops for structurally coupling adjoining containers, the stabilizing rod having finial top diameters greater than a coupled loop diameter to keep the stabilizing rod inserted in the coupling reinforced loops. 
     
     
         18 . A method for an inflatable container for retaining a liquid for storage and for a stackable flood barrier as in  claim 11  further comprising the steps of forming liquid impervious material exterior walls with at least one wall surface having raised portions of strips for increasing friction between adjacent surfaces.
