What is claimed is:

         1 . A laundry appliance comprising:
a cabinet; a tub positioned within the cabinet; a basket rotatably mounted within the tub and defining a chamber configured for receiving a load of clothes; a user interface panel mounted to the cabinet; and a controller in operative communication with the user interface panel, the controller being configured to:
 determine the laundry appliance has been turned on;
obtain a list of favorite operating cycles based on historical data related to operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance; and
display the list of favorite operating cycles on the user interface panel for selection by a user through the user interface panel.

2 . The laundry appliance of claim 1 , wherein obtaining the list of favorite operating cycles based on the historical data related to the operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance comprises:
obtain the historical data from local storage on the laundry appliance; and analyzing the historical data to identify the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data.

3 . The laundry appliance of claim 2 , wherein analyzing the historical data to identify the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data comprises:
tallying the operating cycles performed in terms of frequency of use.

4 . The laundry appliance of claim 2 , wherein analyzing the historical data to identify the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data comprises:
determining a cycle score for the operating cycles performed, wherein the list of favorites includes operating cycles with the highest cycle scores.

5 . The laundry appliance of claim 4 , wherein determining the cycle score for the operating cycles performed comprises:
multiplying the cycle score by a cycle weighting, wherein the cycle weighing decreases for older operating cycles.

6 . The laundry appliance of claim 2 , wherein analyzing the historical data to identify the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data comprises:
running a predictive engine that classifies the operating cycles performed based on at least one of time of day, days of week, seasons, or holidays.

7 . The laundry appliance of claim 1 , wherein the controller is in operative communication with a remote server through an external network, and wherein obtaining the list of favorite operating cycles based on the historical data related to operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance comprises:
sending the historical data to the remote server for analysis; and receiving the list of favorite operating cycles from the remote server.

8 . The laundry appliance of claim 1 , wherein the list of favorite operating cycles comprises three operating cycles.

9 . The laundry appliance of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
receive user input regarding a number of operating cycles included in the list of favorite operating cycles.

10 . The laundry appliance of claim 1 , wherein the user interface panel comprises a touchscreen comprising a plurality of touch buttons, wherein each of the plurality of touch buttons are reassigned based on the list of favorite operating cycles.

11 . The laundry appliance of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
identify a laundry pattern based on the historical data related to operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance; identify a pattern change where the historical data deviates from the laundry pattern; and remove data associated with the laundry pattern from the historical data.

12 . A method of operating a laundry appliance, the laundry appliance comprising a user interface panel, the method comprising:
determining the laundry appliance has been turned on; obtaining a list of favorite operating cycles based on historical data related to operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance; and displaying the list of favorite operating cycles on the user interface panel for selection by a user through the user interface panel.

13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein obtaining the list of favorite operating cycles based on the historical data related to the operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance comprises:
obtaining the historical data from local storage on the laundry appliance; and analyzing the historical data to identify the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein analyzing the historical data to identify the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data comprises:
tallying the operating cycles performed in terms of frequency of use.

15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein analyzing the historical data to identify the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data comprises:
determining a cycle score for the operating cycles performed, wherein the list of favorites includes operating cycles with the highest cycle scores.

16 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the laundry appliance is in operative communication with a remote server through an external network, and wherein obtaining the list of favorite operating cycles based on the historical data related to operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance comprises:
sending the historical data to the remote server for analysis; and receiving the list of favorite operating cycles from the remote server.

17 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
identifying a laundry pattern based on the historical data related to operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance; identifying a pattern change where the historical data deviates from the laundry pattern; and removing data associated with the laundry pattern from the historical data.

18 . A method of operating a remote server to operate a laundry appliance, the method comprising:
receiving historical data related to operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance; analyzing the historical data to generate a list of favorite operating cycles based on the historical data related to the operating cycles performed by the laundry appliance; and communicating the list of favorite operating cycles to the laundry appliance for display and selection on a user interface panel of the laundry appliance.

19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein analyzing the historical data to generate the list of favorite operating cycles from the historical data comprises:
