Touch-up paint kit device

Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel touch-up paint kit device. The device is a specialized painting kit used for small painting touch-ups. The kit is comprised of an 8- or 12-ounce base container component with an opening of 2 to 2.5 inches. The base container component comprises a screw lid component with a paint brush component attached. The screw cap brush component is at least 1 inch long with an attachable handle to allow the brush component to be replaceable on the lid component. Further, the kit comprises a foam applicator base component with a screw cap component lid and foam applicator tip. Additional foam applicator tips can also be included in the kit.

1 . A touch-up paint kit device that easily and conveniently saves unused paint and allows for small touch-up work, the touch-up paint kit device comprising:
 at least one base container component;   a marking area positional on the at least one base container component for indicating a contents stored within the at least one base container component;   at least one surface preparation material; and   at least one screw on lid component;   wherein the at least one screw on lid component comprises an attached paint brush; and   wherein unused paint is placed in each of the at least one base container components and then sealed with the at least one screw on lid component, creating an airtight seal for the unused paint inside the at least one base container component; and   wherein the at least one base container component is transparent.   
     
     
         2 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one base container component has a cylindrical shape with a hollow interior cavity to retain an amount of paint. 
     
     
         3 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 2 , wherein the at least one base container component comprises an opening of approximately 2.0-2.5 inches. 
     
     
         4 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 3 , wherein the least one base container component is an 8- or 12-ounce container. 
     
     
         5 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 4 , wherein the at least one screw on lid component is threadedly secured to the at least one base container component and has a diameter equivalent to that of the at least one base container component. 
     
     
         6 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 5 , wherein the attached paint brush is secured to an underside of the at least one screw on lid component. 
     
     
         7 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 6 , wherein the attached paint brush is at least one inch long with an attachable handle, to allow the attached paint brush to be replaceable on the at least one screw on lid component, after use. 
     
     
         8 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 1  further comprising at least one foam applicator base container component with at least one screw on lid. 
     
     
         9 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 8 , wherein the at least one foam applicator base container component has a cylindrical shape with a hollow interior cavity to retain an amount of paint. 
     
     
         10 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 9 , wherein the at least one foam applicator base container component comprises an opening of approximately 2.0-2.5 inches. 
     
     
         11 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 10 , wherein the least one foam applicator base container component is an 8- or 12-ounce container. 
     
     
         12 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 11 , wherein the at least one screw on lid is threadedly secured to the at least one foam applicator base container component and has a diameter equivalent to that of the at least one foam applicator base container component. 
     
     
         13 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 12 , wherein the at least one screw on lid comprises a foam applicator tip. 
     
     
         14 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 13 , wherein additional foam applicator tips are included with the touch-up paint kit device.

         16 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 14  further comprising extra paint brushes for use. 
     
     
         17 . A touch-up paint kit device that easily and conveniently saves unused paint and allows for small touch-up work, the touch-up paint kit device comprising:
 at least one base container component with at least one screw on lid component;   at least one surface preparation material;   at least one clean-up material;   an indicia stamped into the at least one base container component; and   at least one foam applicator base container component with at least one screw on lid component; and   wherein the at least one screw on lid component of the at least one base container component comprises an attached paint brush; and   wherein the at least one screw on lid component of the at least one foam applicator base container component comprises a foam applicator tip; and   wherein the unused paint is placed in each of the at least one base container components and then sealed with the at least one screw on lid component, creating an airtight seal for the unused paint inside the at least one base container component; and   wherein the unused paint is placed in each of the at least one foam applicator base container components and then sealed with the at least one screw on lid component, creating an airtight seal for the unused paint inside the at least one foam applicator base container components.

         19 . The touch-up paint kit device of  claim 17 , wherein the at least one base container component and the at least one foam applicator base container component comprises a label. 
     
     
         20 . A method of storing small amounts of paint in an airtight container for small touch-up work, the method comprising the following steps:
 providing a touch-up paint kit device comprising a base container component with a screw on lid component and attached brush, a foam applicator base container component with a screw on lid component and foam applicator tip, a surface preparation material, and a clean-up material;   pouring any leftover paint into either or both of the base components;   securing the screw on lid components onto the base components, such that the lid components form an airtight seal;   indicating a contents stored within the at least one base container component on a marking area of the base container component; and   opening the lid component and utilizing the attached paint brush or foam applicator to paint small touch-up work.
