Abstract

A hair curling appliance includes a handle, a sleeve that is transparent and/or translucent that is connected to the handle, a heated barrel in the sleeve, and one or more hair winding members that are rotatable to wind hair around the heated barrel.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A hair curling appliance comprising:
 a handle;   a sleeve that is transparent and/or translucent that is connected to the handle;   a heated barrel in the sleeve; and   one or more hair winding members that are rotatable to wind hair around the heated barrel.   
     
     
         2 . The hair curling appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is translucent. 
     
     
         3 . The hair curling appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is transparent. 
     
     
         4 . The hair curling appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the sleeve has an insertion slot. 
     
     
         5 . The hair curling appliance of  claim 4 , wherein the sleeve has an upper slot in a side of the sleeve that is opposite a side having the insertion slot. 
     
     
         6 . The hair curling appliance of  claim 4 , wherein the insertion slot has a shape having a first straight portion, a hook shape portion, a second straight portion and a perpendicular portion. 
     
     
         7 . The hair curling appliance of  claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is removable.
