Abstract

A golf club head includes a main shell, a ball striking face plate, and two counterweight blocks. The main shell has a sole portion, a face plate connecting portion, two counterweight installation portions provided at the sole portion, and two screw holes each provided at one of the counterweight installation portions. The ball striking face plate is attached to the face plate connecting portion of the main shell. The counterweight blocks are installed in the counterweight installation portions and threaded with the screw holes through screws each passing through an elongated fixing hole of the counterweight blocks. By selecting different weights and adjusting different positions of the counterweight blocks, the user's needs can be met and the functional effects required by the user can be easily achieved. The problems of the complex counterweight structure and difficulty in adjustment can be solved, and high-strength and high-rebound characteristics can be achieved.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A golf club head comprising:
a main shell having a crown portion, a sole portion, a toe portion connected with the crown portion and the sole portion, a face plate connecting portion connected with the crown portion, the toe portion, and the sole portion, two first counterweight installation portions provided at the sole portion, and two screw holes each provided at one of the first counterweight installation portions; a ball striking face plate attached to the face plate connecting portion of the main shell; and two first counterweight blocks installed in the first counterweight installation portions of the main shell and each threaded with one of the screw holes of the main shell through a screw passing through a first elongated fixing hole of one of the first counterweight blocks.

2 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first counterweight installation portions of the main shell each have two lateral sides; the first counterweight blocks each have two lateral sides corresponding to the two lateral sides of the first counterweight installation portions of the main shell.

3 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein one of the first counterweight blocks is movable along a first moving line, and the other of the first counterweight blocks is movable along a second moving line intersected with the first moving line.

4 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the first counterweight installation portions of the main shell is connected with an inner cylinder portion penetrated by the screw hole.

5 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the main shell further has a second counterweight installation portion provided at the sole portion and located between the first counterweight installation portions; a second counterweight block is installed in the second counterweight installation portion and located between the two first counterweight blocks.

6 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the second counterweight block is threaded with a screw hole provided at the second counterweight installation portion through a screw passing through a second fixing hole of the second counterweight block.

7 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the main shell has a groove provided at the sole portion and located between the first counterweight installation portions and the face plate connecting portion.

8 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the main shell is made of a light metal with a specific gravity of 1.7-4.7.

9 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the ball striking face plate is made of a heavy metal with a specific gravity of 7-18.

10 . The golf club head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a specific gravity of the ball striking face plate is more than 1.5 times that of the main shell.
