Apparatus for mounting a rod

Abstract

Apparatus for mounting a rod is described. The rod has a first diameter. The apparatus comprises a plug assembly and a socket assembly. The socket assembly is pivotably connected to the plug assembly. The socket assembly is plugged by the plug assembly. The socket assembly is connected to the rod.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . Apparatus for installing a rod, wherein the rod has a first diameter, the apparatus comprising:
 a plug assembly;   a socket assembly, pivotably connected to the plug assembly, is plugged by the plug assembly, wherein the socket assembly is connected to the rod.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the socket assembly comprises a rounded sidewall toward the plug assembly. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 2 , wherein the plug assembly comprises a base and a first prong extending from the base. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the rounded sidewall comprises a first recess to accommodate the first prong. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 4 , wherein the plug assembly comprises a second prong extending from the base. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein the first prong and the second prong are separated by a first distance smaller than the first diameter of the rod. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 6 , wherein the rounded sidewall comprises a second recess, and wherein the second recess and the first recess are separated by a second distance substantially the same as the first distance. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 7 , wherein the rounded sidewall comprises a u-bent top, a u-bent middle, and a u-bent bottom. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein the first recess is between the u-bent top and the u-bent middle. 
     
     
         10 . The apparatus of  claim 9 , wherein the second recess is between the u-bent middle and the u-bent bottom. 
     
     
         11 . The apparatus of  claim 7 , further comprising a first screw partially surrounded by the rounded sidewall. 
     
     
         12 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein the first prong has a first hole, and wherein the second prong has a second hole. 
     
     
         13 . The apparatus of  claim 12 , wherein the first screw passes through the first hole and the second hole. 
     
     
         14 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein the socket assembly comprises a hollow cylinder connected to the rounded sidewall, and wherein the hollow cylinder is connected to the rod. 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus of  claim 14 , wherein the hollow cylinder comprises an outer surface not completely rounded. 
     
     
         16 . The apparatus of  claim 15 , wherein the outer surface is partially flattened. 
     
     
         17 . The apparatus of  claim 16 , wherein the outer surface has a flat. 
     
     
         18 . The apparatus of  claim 17 , further comprising a second screw passing through the flat. 
     
     
         19 . The apparatus of  claim 6 , wherein the socket assembly comprises an extended tube connected to the rod. 
     
     
         20 . The apparatus of  claim 19 , wherein the socket assembly has a second diameter greater than first distance.
