Firearm brace with extendable support rail

Abstract

An apparatus for stabilizing firearms is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a body having a left side module and a right-side module secured together by a combination of locking mechanisms. The apparatus further comprises a charging system having a first set of slots and a second set of slots. Furthermore, a first interior metallic plate is housed within the left side module and a second interior metallic plate is housed within the right-side module, each plate featuring an elongated channel. The charging system maybe coupled to the body through a connecting mechanism that may engage the first set of slots of the charging handle with the elongated channel.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus for stabilizing firearms comprising,
 a body comprising a left side module and a right-side module, secured together by a combination of locking mechanisms;   a charging system having a first set of slots and a second set of slots; and   a first interior metallic plate housed within the left side module and a second interior metallic plate housed within the right-side module, each plate featuring an elongated channel, wherein the charging system is coupled to the body through a connecting mechanism that engages the first set of slots of the charging handle with the elongated channel.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprises:
 an extendable rail having one or more keyholes connected to the left side module or the right-side module of the body; and   a key, utilized to lock the extendable rail in a plurality of configurations, wherein the key is inserted through one of the one or more keyholes provided in the extendable rail and a socket provided at the rear end of the body.   
     
     
         3 . The apparats of  claim 2 , wherein a support brace is connected to the rear end of the extendable rail. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the connecting mechanism links the first set of slots of the charging system to the elongated channel, enabling linear movement of the charging handle along the elongated channel. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the firearm engages with the apparatus through a connection between the male picatinny rails of the firearm to the female picatinny rails located on the body of the apparatus. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein a slider of the firearm engages with the second set of slots of the charging system. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the charging system comprises a charging handle that protrudes from the body of the apparatus. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 7 , wherein the charging handle freely moves along a designated opening in the body of the apparatus. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the combination of locking mechanisms that secure the right-side module and the left-side of module of the body encompasses pic locks, male dove tail connecting mechanisms, and female dove tail connecting mechanisms.
