Abstract

A refrigeration appliance has a box body and a door arranged in the front of the box body, an accommodating cavity arranged at the top of the box body with a first inlet open upward to allow a control and/or power supply module to enter the accommodating cavity, and a top cap for closing the first inlet. The control and/or power supply module includes a first connector, and the accommodating cavity is arranged to open toward a rear side of the box body to allow a second connector to be engaged with the first connector from the rear side of the box body. This allows to increase a volume of the refrigeration appliance, and the control and/or power supply module is connected conveniently.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified

         16 . A refrigeration appliance, comprising:
a box body having a front, a top, a rear side, and a door arranged at the front of said box body; a control and/or power supply module; said box body being formed with an accommodating cavity at the top of said box body, said accommodating cavity having an upwardly open first opening to allow said control and/or power supply module to enter said accommodating cavity; said control and/or power supply module having a first connector and said accommodating cavity being arranged to open towards the rear side of said box body to enable a second connector to be engaged with said first connector from the rear side of said box body; and a top cap for closing said first opening.

17 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 16 , wherein said first connector comprises a power terminal, and said second connector is configured to supply power to the control and/or power supply module.

18 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 16 , wherein said second connector is configured to burn a control program to said control and/or power supply module.

19 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 18 , wherein said control and/or power supply module comprises a printed circuit board, said first connector comprises a connection terminal arranged on said printed circuit board, and said second connector is configured to be connected to said connection terminal to burn the control program to said control and/or power supply module.

20 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 16 , wherein said box body is formed with a concave portion that is concave forward from a rear surface of said box body, and said second connector is configured to be at least partially accommodated in said concave portion.

21 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 16 , wherein said control and/or power supply module comprises a printed circuit board extending in a horizontal direction, and said second connector is configured to be plugged onto said first connector from the rear side of said box body in parallel with said printed circuit board.

22 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 16 , wherein said box body comprises a back plate, an upper plate, and an accommodating housing, wherein said upper plate has a first opening, said accommodating housing is connected to said upper plate through said first opening, and said control and/or power supply module is at least partially accommodated in said accommodating housing.

23 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 22 , wherein a rear end of said accommodating housing is at least partially connected to said back plate.

24 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 23 , wherein said accommodating housing forms a part of a rear surface of said box body, and said accommodating housing is formed with a second inlet that is open toward the rear side of said box body to allow the second connector to be engaged with said first connector.

25 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 24 , wherein:
said accommodating housing includes a pair of connecting walls that are opposite to each other and extend from rear to front; and wherein at least one of:
said second inlet is formed between said pair of connecting walls; or
the second connector is at least partially arranged between said pair of connecting walls.

26 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 23 , wherein said back plate is formed with a second opening, and said accommodating housing comprises an extending portion connected to said back plate through said second opening.

27 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 22 , wherein said control and/or power supply module comprises a holder and a printed circuit board carried on said holder, and said holder is connected to said accommodating housing and is formed with a cut corresponding to said first connector.

28 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 22 , wherein the top cap forms a part of the rear surface of the box body.

29 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 22 , which further comprises a waterproof mechanism arranged on at least one of said accommodating housing or said upper plate through said first opening, for blocking said accommodating cavity from outside jointly with said top cap or independently of said top cap.

30 . The refrigeration appliance according to claim 16 , wherein:
said box body has a water outlet on the rear side of said box body; and wherein at least one of:
said water outlet is in fluid communication with said accommodating cavity and the rear side of said box body; or
said water outlet is provided at an end of a slot or is in fluid communication with the slot, the slot being provided around said accommodating cavity and arranged outside said accommodating cavity.
