Cooking appliance having a muffle with walls of different thicknesses

Abstract

A cooking appliance includes a housing and a muffle which is arranged in the housing and includes walls that define a cooking chamber of the cooking appliance and include a top wall, a bottom wall, a rear wall and side walls. The side walls have a thickness which is different from a thickness of the bottom wall and/or different from a thickness of the rear wall and/or different from a thickness of the top wall.

         16 . A cooking appliance, comprising:
 a housing; and   a muffle arranged in the housing and including walls which define a cooking chamber of the cooking appliance and include a top wall, a bottom wall, a rear wall and side walls, wherein the side walls have a thickness which is different from a thickness of the bottom wall and/or different from a thickness of the rear wall and/or different from a thickness of the top wall.   
     
     
         17 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , wherein the thickness of the side walls is smaller than the thickness of the bottom wall and/or is smaller than the thickness of the rear wall and/or is smaller than the thickness of the top wall. 
     
     
         18 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , wherein the thickness of the side walls is smaller by a value of between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm than the thickness of the bottom wall and/or the thickness of the rear wall and/or the thickness of the top wall. 
     
     
         19 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , wherein the thickness of the side walls is smaller by a value of between 0.25 mm and 0.35 mm than the thickness of the bottom wall and/or the thickness of the rear wall and/or the thickness of the top wall. 
     
     
         20 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , wherein the thickness of the side walls is between 0.4 mm and 0.8 mm. 
     
     
         21 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , wherein the thickness of the side walls is between 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm. 
     
     
         22 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , wherein the thickness of the bottom wall is between 0.6 mm and 1.0 mm, in particular between 0.7 mm and 0.9 mm, and/or the thickness of the top wall is between 0.6 mm and 1.0 mm, in particular between 0.7 mm and 0.9 mm. 
     
     
         23 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , wherein the muffle is made from metal. 
     
     
         24 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , further comprising an additional material applied on at least one region of an outer face of the muffle and having a heat resistance up to 550° C., in particular of up to 530° C. 
     
     
         25 . The cooking appliance of  claim 24 , wherein the additional material is applied to the outer face as a coating. 
     
     
         26 . The cooking appliance of  claim 25 , wherein the coating has a thickness between 0.050 mm and 0.1 mm. 
     
     
         27 . The cooking appliance of  claim 24 , wherein the additional material is enamel. 
     
     
         28 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , further comprising an additional material applied on at least one region of an inner face of the muffle and having a heat resistance up to 550° C., in particular of up to 530° C. 
     
     
         29 . The cooking appliance of  claim 28 , wherein the additional material is applied to the inner face as a coating. 
     
     
         30 . The cooking appliance of  claim 29 , wherein the coating has a thickness between 0.1 mm and 0.2 mm. 
     
     
         31 . The cooking appliance of  claim 28 , wherein the additional material is enamel. 
     
     
         32 . The cooking appliance of  claim 16 , further comprising a heating element, which is strand-like and repeatedly bent in a main extension surface and which is arranged outside the muffle in an intermediate space between the housing and the muffle, said heating element being arranged only in an intermediate space region which is formed between only one of the walls of the muffle and an outer wall of the housing arranged spaced apart from the one of the walls of the muffle in at least substantially parallel relationship thereto. 
     
     
         33 . The cooking appliance of  claim 32 , wherein the heating element is at least one member selected from the group consisting of a top-heat body, grill heating body, a bottom-heat body, and a grill heating body. 
     
     
         34 . The cooking appliance of  claim 32 , wherein the heating element has a maximum total heat output between 3.0 kW and 4.0 kW, in particular between 3.2 kW and 3.5 kW. 
     
     
         35 . The cooking appliance of  claim 32 , wherein the heating element is arranged in at least one of two ways, a first way in which the heating element is exposed in the intermediate space toward an adjacent one of the walls of the muffle, a second way in which the heating element is arranged at a spacing from the adjacent one of the wall of the muffle.
