Abstract

A compression training apparatus includes a disk portion, a shank portion, and an attachment portion. The shank portion is connected between the disk portion and the attachment portion. The disk portion comprises an end opening. The shank portion comprises an internal passage having a first end and a second end. The attachment portion comprises a hole. The internal passage is in fluid communication with the end opening at the first end and with the hole of the attachment portion at the second end.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A compression training apparatus comprising:
 a disk portion;   a shank portion;   an attachment portion;   the shank portion being connected between the disk portion and the attachment portion;   the disk portion comprising an end opening;   the shank portion comprising an internal passage having a first end and a second end;   the attachment portion comprising a hole;   the internal passage being in fluid communication with the end opening at the first end and with the hole of the attachment portion at the second end.   
     
     
         2 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the end opening is located at a center of the disk portion. 
     
     
         3 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the disk portion further comprises a concave end surface. 
     
     
         4 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the shank portion comprises a shank wall that has a cylindrical outer surface. 
     
     
         5 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the internal passage is cylindrical. 
     
     
         6 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein the internal passage is coaxial with the end opening and the hole. 
     
     
         7 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein the shank portion further comprises a transition portion that transitions from the shank portion to the attachment portion. 
     
     
         8 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising a manometer attached to the attachment portion. 
     
     
         9 . The compression training apparatus as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein the manometer comprises a threaded stem, and the hole is threaded and configured to hermetically receive the threaded stem.
