Pizza box toy and game delivery devices

Abstract

A delivery pizza may include a pizza box and pizza disposed therein. A toy container may be disposed in a gap of the pizza region between the pizza and adjacent sidewalls of the pizza box. In another embodiment, a toy partition member may be used to separate the toy from the pizza. A toy container may be configured to be supported by an in-store pizza on a pizza tray. A board game delivery device may alternatively be included in the pizza box to include a board game delivery device to enable a board game and accessory pieces therefor to be delivered to a consumer of the pizza. The board game may be positioned beneath the pizza, and game accessories may be disposed in storage regions defined by the board game delivery device.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A delivery pizza, comprising:
 a pizza box having a top member and a bottom member, the bottom member including sidewalls and the top member including flaps that extend into a pizza region defined by the bottom member;   a pizza disposed within the pizza region of the bottom member;   a container disposed in a gap of the pizza region between the pizza and adjacent sidewalls; and   an inedible item positioned in the container.   
     
     
         2 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 1 , wherein the container has a pair of sidewalls and a curved wall between the sidewalls, and wherein the inedible item is disposed between the pair of sidewalls and curved wall. 
     
     
         3 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 1 , wherein the container includes at least one flap connected to the sidewalls of the container, the at least one flap being configured to extend below a flap of the top member and sidewall of the bottom member. 
     
     
         4 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 1 , wherein the container includes at least one extender member configured to extend beneath the pizza. 
     
     
         5 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 1 , wherein the container has a triangular shape. 
     
     
         6 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 1 , wherein the container includes a top member that encloses the inedible item in the container. 
     
     
         7 . A delivery pizza, comprising:
 a pizza box having a top member and a bottom member, the bottom member including sidewalls and the top member including flaps that extend into a pizza region;   a pizza disposed within the pizza region of the bottom member;   a partition disposed in a gap of the pizza region between the pizza and adjacent sidewalls; and   an inedible item positioned between the partition and adjacent sidewalls.   
     
     
         8 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 7 , wherein the partition is curved. 
     
     
         9 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 7 , wherein the partition includes at least one flap that extends therefrom, the at least one flap being configured to extend below a flap of the top member and sidewall of the bottom member. 
     
     
         10 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 1 , wherein the partition includes at least one extender member configured to extend beneath the pizza. 
     
     
         11 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 1 , wherein the partition has upper and lower members with connector members extending therebetween. 
     
     
         12 . A method of producing a delivery pizza, comprising:
 receiving a container including an inedible item;   placing a pizza within a pizza box; and   placing the container within a pizza box beside the pizza.   
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 12 , further comprising extending an extender member of the container beneath the pizza. 
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 12 , further comprising disposing a flap of the container between a flap of a top member of the pizza box and sidewall of a bottom member of the pizza box. 
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 12 , further comprising:
 receiving a second container including a second inedible item; and   placing the second container within a pizza box beside the pizza, wherein the container and second container are placed in gaps defined by an edge of the pizza and sidewalls in corners of the pizza box.   
     
     
         16 . A method of producing a delivery pizza, comprising:
 receive a retention member;   placing a pizza within a pizza box;   placing the retention member within a pizza box beside the pizza; and   placing an inedible item between the retention member and sidewalls of a corner of the pizza box.   
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 16 , further comprising extending extender members of the retention member beneath the pizza. 
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 16 , further comprising disposing a flap of the retention member between a flap of a top member of the pizza box and sidewall of a bottom member of the pizza box. 
     
     
         19 . The method according to  claim 16 , further comprising:
 receiving a second retention member; and   placing the second retention member within a pizza box beside the pizza, wherein the retention member and second retention member are placed in gaps defined by an edge of the pizza and sidewalls in corners of the pizza box.   
     
     
         20 . An in-store pizza assembly, comprising:
 a pizza tray;   a pizza disposed on said pizza tray; and   a container containing an inedible item, said container including an extension member that extends beneath the pizza to support the container by said pizza tray and said pizza.   
     
     
         21 . A method of assembling an in-store pizza assembly, comprising:
 placing a pizza on a pizza tray; and   placing an extension member of a container containing an inedible item between the pizza and pizza tray to support the container thereby.   
     
     
         22 . A delivery pizza, comprising:
 a pizza box having a top member and a bottom member, the bottom member including sidewalls and the top member including flaps that extend into a pizza region defined by the bottom member;   a pizza disposed within the pizza region of the bottom member; and   a board game delivery device disposed within the pizza box, and configured to position a board game beneath the pizza in the pizza box.   
     
     
         23 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 21 , wherein the board game delivery device is configured to position a game board beneath the pizza in the pizza box. 
     
     
         24 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 22 , wherein the board game delivery device includes a game board protector within which a game board is disposed. 
     
     
         25 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 23 , wherein the board game protector is connected to one or more frame members that define storage regions between the pizza and adjacent sidewalls. 
     
     
         26 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 22 , wherein the board game delivery device includes a game board connected to one or more frame members that define storage regions between the pizza and adjacent sidewalls. 
     
     
         27 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 25 , further comprising board game accessories disposed within one or more of the storage regions. 
     
     
         28 . The delivery pizza according to  claim 22 , wherein the board game delivery device includes a board game configured to extend along the bottom member, and connected to one or more frame members that define storage regions between the pizza and adjacent sidewalls. 
     
     
         29 . A method of producing a delivery pizza, comprising:
 placing a board game delivery device including a game board within a pizza box; and   placing a pizza within the pizza box and on top of a portion of the board game delivery device.   
     
     
         30 . The method according to  claim 28 , wherein inserting a board game delivery device includes inserting a board game delivery device inclusive of a game board protector, wherein the game board is disposed within the game board protector. 
     
     
         31 . The method according to  claim 28 , wherein inserting a board game delivery device includes inserting a board game delivery device that defines one or more storage regions between the pizza and adjacent side walls of the pizza box, the one or more storage regions configured to store one or more board game accessories therein.
