Extendable golf tee

Abstract

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are disclosed for an extendable golf tee. An extendable golf tee includes a ball support, a shaft, and extension member coupling the ball support to the shaft, wherein the ball support, the shaft, or a combination thereof are movable along the extension member to set a length of the apparatus from the ball support to an end of the shaft at a predefined length.

1 . An apparatus, comprising:
 a ball support;   a shaft; and   an extension member coupling the ball support to the shaft,   wherein the ball support, the shaft, or a combination thereof are movable along the extension member to set a length of the apparatus from the ball support to an end of the shaft at a predefined length.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein a size of the ball support is configurable. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 2 , wherein a circumference of the ball support is extendable and retractable to configure the size of the ball support. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising measurement markings along a length of the shaft, an elongated portion of the ball support, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the extension member comprises a groove and a plurality of slots located at different lengths along the extension member. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein the shaft comprises a protruding member that is configured to slide along the groove and set within one of the plurality of slots to set the length of the apparatus at the predefined length. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 6 , wherein each of the plurality of slots further comprises a notch that the protruding member sits in. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein each of the plurality of slots corresponds to each of a plurality of measurement markings. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the extension member comprises a plurality of notches located along a length of the extension member. 
     
     
         10 . The apparatus of  claim 9 , wherein the shaft comprises a protruding member that corresponds to each of the plurality of notches along the length of the extension member and is configured to lock in a notch and set the shaft at a position along the extension member to set the length of the apparatus. 
     
     
         11 . The apparatus of  claim 10 , wherein the protruding member is retractable to release the protruding member from the notch where it is locked. 
     
     
         12 . An extendable golf tee, comprising:
 a ball support;   a shaft comprising a protruding member; and   an extension member coupling the ball support to the shaft, the extension member comprising a groove and a plurality of slots located at different lengths along the extension member;   wherein the protruding member is configured to slide along the groove and set within one of the plurality of slots to set a length of the extendable golf tee at a predefined length.   
     
     
         13 . The extendable golf tee of  claim 12 , wherein a size of the ball support is configurable. 
     
     
         14 . The extendable golf tee of  claim 13 , wherein a circumference of the ball support is extendable and retractable to configure the size of the ball support. 
     
     
         15 . The extendable golf tee of  claim 12 , further comprising measurement markings along a length of the shaft, an elongated portion of the ball support, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         16 . An extendable golf tee, comprising:
 a ball support;   a shaft comprising a protruding member; and   an extension member coupling the ball support to the shaft, the extension member comprising a plurality of notches located along a length of the extension member;   wherein the protruding member corresponds to each of the plurality of notches along the length of the extension member and is configured to lock in a notch and set the shaft at a position along the extension member to set the length of the extendable golf tee.   
     
     
         17 . The extendable golf tee of  claim 16 , wherein a size of the ball support is configurable. 
     
     
         18 . The extendable golf tee of  claim 17 , wherein a circumference of the ball support is extendable and retractable to configure the size of the ball support. 
     
     
         19 . The extendable golf tee of  claim 16 , further comprising measurement markings along a length of the shaft, an elongated portion of the ball support, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         20 . The extendable golf tee of  claim 16 , wherein the protruding member is retractable to release the protruding member from the notch where it is locked.
