Wheel truck assembly

Abstract

A wheel assembly having a plurality of wheel trucks spaced apart on a base plate for supporting a vehicle that uses the wheels of the wheel truck to move along a supporting surface. Each wheel truck provides two wheels sharing an independent axle in which each independent axle includes a quick release pin configured to both removably and rotatably connect the two wheels to the wheel truck.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A wheel assembly, comprising:
 a base plate for mounting a plurality of wheel trucks so that the base plate supports a vehicle in such a way that the vehicle rolls on wheels of the plurality of wheel trucks;   a first wheel truck connected to the base plate; and   a second wheel truck connected to the base plate, wherein each wheel truck provides two wheels operatively associated with an independent axle, and wherein each independent axle comprises a quick release pin configured to both removably and rotatably connect the two wheels to the wheel truck.   
     
     
         2 . The wheel assembly of  claim 1 , wherein each quick release pin extends from a distal end and a proximal end, and wherein the proximal end removably attaches to the respective wheel truck. 
     
     
         3 . The wheel assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the vehicle is a roller skate. 
     
     
         4 . The wheel assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the vehicle is a skateboard. 
     
     
         5 . The wheel assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the vehicle is an automobile. 
     
     
         6 . The wheel assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the vehicle is an airplane.
