Adjustment device and drinking straw component
Abstract
An adjustment device for a drinking straw and a drinking straw component includes a first elbow and a second elbow, wherein one of the first elbow and the second elbow is partially insertable into the other of the first elbow and the second elbow; a slot is provided on the wall of the first elbow and extends along a length of the first elbow; a protrusion is provided at an end of the second elbow close to the first elbow; and the protrusion is slidable in the slot of the first elbow along its length, so that the first elbow and the second elbow can be slid against each other. The present application can adjust the sipping angle of the straw and pierce through a cover of a wrapped drink purposed for inserting the corresponding straw.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An adjustment device for a drinking straw, one end of the straw is insertable into the adjustment device, the adjustment device comprising:
a first elbow; and a second elbow; wherein one of the first elbow and the second elbow is partially insertable into the other of the first elbow and the second elbow; a slot is provided on a wall of the first elbow and extends along the length of the first elbow; and a protrusion is provided at an end of the second elbow connected to the first elbow; and the protrusion is slidable in the slot of the first elbow along its length, so that the first elbow and the second elbow can be slid against each other to adjust the end of the straw to form different sipping angles.
2 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a first opening is formed on the wall of the first elbow, and penetrates both ends of the first elbow along the length of the first elbow; and a second opening is formed on a wall of the second elbow, and penetrates both ends of the second elbow along the length of the second elbow.
3 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the first opening is aligned with the second opening.
4 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an inclined opening is provided at an end of the first elbow away from the second elbow.
5 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a piercing part is provided at an end of the first elbow away from the second elbow, and the piercing part is configured to pierce through a cover of a wrapped drink.
6 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the slot penetrates from an inner wall of the first elbow to an outer wall opposite to the inner wall.
7 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the protrusion is provided on the outer wall of the second elbow, and in the portion where the second elbow is inserted into the first elbow, the outer wall of the second elbow is attached to or close to the inner wall of the first elbow.
8 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the protrusion is provided on the inner wall of the second elbow, and in the portion where the first elbow is inserted into the second elbow, the inner wall of the second elbow is attached to or close to the outer wall of the first elbow.
9 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the slot is located at the bending top of the first elbow, and the protrusion is located at the bending top of the second elbow.
10 . The adjustment device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein both the first elbow and the second elbow are made of stainless steel or plastic.
11 . A drinking straw component, comprising;
a straw; and an adjustment device claimed in claim 1 ; wherein one end of the straw is insertable into the adjustment device, the inner wall of the adjustment device is attached to the outer wall of the straw, and the second elbow and the first elbow of the adjustment device are slidable against each other to adjust the end of the straw to form different sipping angles.
12 . The drinking straw component as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the straw can be unfolded into a strip, a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion are provided respectively on the two opposite sides of the unfolded straw and both extend along the length of the straw, and when the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion are correspondingly coupled with each other, the two opposite sides of the straw are tightly combined to construct the straw from the unfolded long strip into a tube.
13 . The drinking straw component as claimed in claim 12 , wherein the first coupling portion is a buckle groove, and the second coupling portion is a buckle block whose shape is coupled with the buckle groove of the first coupling portion.
14 . The drinking straw component as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the buckle groove and the buckle block are hook-shaped.
15 . The drinking straw component as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the straw is made of food-grade silicone, and composition of the silicone comprises silver-ion elastomers and antistatic silicone elastomers.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
