Abstract

A net buckle and associated net buckle systems are disclosed. The net buckle may comprise a center section having a top side and a lower side. The net buckle system may comprise a plurality of arms extending from the center section, wherein each of the plurality of arms comprises an opening sized and operable to accommodate a cord. The center section and the plurality of arms may be defined by an outer wall extending from the top side to the lower side. The outer wall may be defined by an upper perimeter and a lower perimeter. At least one of the plurality of arms may comprise an opening having at least one side substantially positioned on the upper perimeter. Multiple net buckles may be used together to join a cord or multiple cords together.

2 . The net buckle of claim 1 , wherein the center section and the plurality of arms are defined by an outer wall extending from the top side to the lower side, the outer wall being defined by an upper perimeter and a lower perimeter.

3 . The net buckle of claim 2 , wherein at least one of the plurality of arms comprises an opening having at least one side substantially positioned on the upper perimeter.

4 . The net buckle of claim 2 , wherein the lower perimeter is larger than the upper perimeter.

5 . The net buckle of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of arms comprises at least a first arm, a second arm, a third arm, and a fourth arm, wherein the first arm comprises a first opening, the second arm comprises a second opening, the third arm comprises a third opening, and the fourth arm comprises a fourth opening.

6 . The net buckle of claim 5 , wherein:
the second opening is angularly spaced approximately 90 degrees from the first opening; the third opening is angularly spaced approximately 90 degrees from the second opening; the fourth opening is angularly spaced approximately 90 degrees from the third opening; and the first opening is angularly spaced approximately 90 degrees from the fourth opening.

7 . The net buckle of claim 5 , wherein at least one side of each of the first opening, the second opening, the third opening, and the fourth opening are positioned proximal to the upper perimeter.

8 . The net buckle of claim 6 , wherein:
the first arm is coupled with the center section, the first opening being located on the first arm; the second arm is coupled with the center section, the second opening being located on the second arm, wherein the first arm and the second arm are separated by a negative space therebetween; the third arm is coupled with the center section, the third opening being located on the third arm, wherein the second arm and the third arm are separated by a negative space therebetween; and the fourth arm is coupled with the center section, the fourth opening being located on the fourth arm, wherein the third arm and the fourth arm are separated by a negative space therebetween and wherein the fourth arm and the first arm are separated by a negative space therebetween.

9 . The net buckle of claim 6 , further comprising a circular outer edge.

10 . The net buckle of claim 1 , wherein the at least one perimeter wall may comprise at least one gate comprising a biasing member, the at least one gate being operable to open and close.

         11 . A customized net system, comprising:
a plurality of net buckles arranged in a pattern, wherein each of the plurality of net buckles comprises: a body defined by a perimeter; a center section within the body; at least one opening on the body, the at least one opening being sized an operable to accommodate a cord; and a plurality of cords, operable to pass through one or multiple of the at least one openings, the plurality of cords being operable to form a custom sized and shaped net upon passing through multiple of the at least one openings of the plurality of net buckles.

12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the plurality of net buckles comprises at least one net buckle comprising:
a continuous circular edge, wherein the at least one opening comprises a first opening, a second opening, a third opening, and a fourth opening, wherein each of the first opening, the second opening, the third opening, and the fourth opening are located proximal to the continuous circular edge.

13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the plurality of net buckles comprises at least one of net buckle comprising:
a first arm extending from the center section, wherein the at least one opening comprises a first opening positioned on the first arm; a second arm extending from the center section, wherein the at least one opening comprises a second opening positioned on the second arm; and a third arm extending from the center section, wherein the at least one opening comprises a third opening positioned on the third arm.

14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the at least one net buckle further comprises a fourth arm extending from the center section, wherein the at least one opening comprises a fourth opening positioned on the fourth arm.
