Beverage Cup Sleeve Device
Abstract
A beverage cup sleeve device includes a sleeve that has a first opening and a second opening. The first opening has a first diameter and the second opening has a second diameter. The sleeve is positionable in a first orientation having the first opening being directed upwardly to insertably receive a bottom end of a beverage container. The sleeve is positionable in a second orientation having the second opening being directed upwardly to be stretched around the bottom end of the beverage container. Furthermore, the sleeve is positionable on a support surface when the sleeve is in the second orientation to support the beverage container above the support surface thereby inhibiting the beverage container from damaging the support surface.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A beverage cup sleeve device for facilitating a user to grip a beverage cup and to inhibit the beverage cup from resting on a support surface, said device comprising:
a sleeve having a first opening and a second opening, said first opening having a first diameter, said second opening having a second diameter, said sleeve being positionable in a first orientation having said first opening being directed upwardly wherein said first opening is configured to insertably receive a bottom end of a beverage container thereby facilitating said sleeve to be positioned around the beverage container, said sleeve being positionable in a second orientation having said second opening being directed upwardly wherein said sleeve is configured to be stretched around the bottom end of the beverage container, said sleeve being positionable on a support surface when said sleeve is in said second orientation wherein said sleeve is configured to support the beverage container above the support surface to inhibit the beverage container from damaging the support surface.
2 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein:
said sleeve has a first end and a second end and an outer wall extending between said first end and said second end; said first end is open to define said first opening; said second end is open to define said second opening; and said outer wall slopes inwardly between said first end and said second end such that said first opening has a diameter that is greater than a diameter of said second opening.
3 . The device according to claim 2 , wherein said sleeve is comprised of a resiliently stretchable material thereby facilitating said second end of said sleeve to be stretched around the beverage container having said sleeve extending downwardly from the beverage container thereby facilitating said first end of said sleeve to be positioned on the support surface.
4 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said sleeve is comprised of a thermally insulating material wherein said sleeve is configured to inhibit thermal communication between the beverage container and a user gripping said sleeve,
5 . A beverage cup sleeve device for facilitating a user to grip a beverage cup and to inhibit the beverage cup from resting on a support surface, said device comprising:
a sleeve having a first opening and a second opening, said first opening having a first diameter, said second opening having a second diameter, said sleeve being positionable in a first orientation having said first opening being directed upwardly wherein said first opening is configured to insertably receive a bottom end of a beverage container thereby facilitating said sleeve to be positioned around the beverage container, said sleeve being comprised of a thermally insulating material wherein said sleeve is configured to inhibit thermal communication between the beverage container and a user gripping said sleeve, said sleeve being positionable in a second orientation having said second opening being directed upwardly wherein said sleeve is configured to be stretched around the bottom end of the beverage container, said sleeve being positionable on a support surface when said sleeve is in said second orientation wherein said sleeve is configured to support the beverage container above the support surface to inhibit the beverage container from damaging the support surface, said sleeve having a first end and a second end and an outer wall extending between said first end and said second end, said first end being open to define said first opening, said second end being open to define said second opening, said outer wall sloping inwardly between said first end and said second end such that said first opening has a diameter that is greater than a diameter of said second opening, said sleeve being comprised of a resiliently stretchable material thereby facilitating said second end of said sleeve to be stretched around the beverage container having said sleeve extending downwardly from the beverage container thereby facilitating said first end of said sleeve to be positioned on the support surface.
6 . A method of facilitating a user to hold a beverage container to support the beverage container over a support surface, the steps of the method comprising:
positioning a sleeve in a first orientation having a first end of said sleeve being directed upwardly; inserting a bottom end of a beverage container into said first end of said sleeve thereby facilitating said sleeve to be positioned around said beverage container wherein said sleeve is configured to facilitate a user to grip said sleeve for drinking from said beverage container; positioning said sleeve in a second orientation having a second end of said sleeve being directed upwardly, said second end having a diameter being less than a diameter of said first end; stretching said second end of said sleeve around said bottom end of said beverage container to facilitate said beverage container to be partially inserted into said second end wherein said sleeve is configured to facilitate the user to grip said sleeve for drinking from said beverage container; and positioning said first end of said sleeve on a support surface thereby facilitating said beverage container to be supported above the support surface to inhibit said beverage container from damaging the support surface.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
