Hair stretching assembly
Abstract
A hair stretching assembly includes a board, a root clip, and an end clip. The assembly is configured to permit the stretching of hair. Hair may be secured either pre stretching or post stretching through one of the clips. A comb may be used to pass through the hair and apply a tension force. The root clip and end clip are configured to nest within each other to allow multiple hair stretching assemblies to line up end to end. The end clip may be translated along the length of the board to adjust to the length of the hair. And aerated clip may be used to permit an increase of airflow through the hair.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A hair stretching assembly, comprising:
a board; a root clip attached to a first end of the board; an end clip selectively coupled to the board, the end clip configured to adjust in position along the length of the board; wherein the root clip and the end clip are configured to compress to a surface of the board.
2 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the root clip and the end clip are configured to clamp onto the board.
3 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the board includes one or more surface treatments.
4 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the board includes a slot.
5 . The assembly of claim 4 , further comprising:
a comb configured to partially translate within the slot along the surface of the board.
6 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the board includes an aperture.
7 . The assembly of claim 1 , further comprising:
a comb configured to translate along the surface of the board.
8 . The assembly of claim 7 , wherein the comb is configured to selectively couple to the board.
9 . The assembly of claim 1 , further comprising:
an aerated clip, the aerated clip configured to clamp around a surface of the board.
10 . The assembly of claim 9 , wherein the aerated clip includes a surface treatment to encourage airflow.
11 . A method of stretching hair, comprising:
obtaining the assembly of claim 1 ; laying hair across the surface of the board; securing the hair to the surface with the root clip; locating the end clip along the length of the board; securing the hair to the surface with the end clip; and applying a tension force to the hair.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein application of the tension force to the hair occurs prior to securing the hair to the surface with the end clip.
13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the hair is secured to the surface while under tension with the end clip.
14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
obtaining a comb to pass through the hair.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
coupling the comb to the board.
16 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the comb is configured to pass through a portion of the board.
17 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
locating a secondary board adjacent to the board.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the root clip and the end clip are configured to seat within one another.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
