Abstract
A storage apparatus for storing items near a user includes a garment configured for being worn on a torso of a user. A pocket is coupled to an exterior of the garment and defines an interior space. The pocket is positioned on a front side of the garment closer to a top end of the garment than to a bottom end of the garment. The pocket is configured for being positioned over a chest of the user. A folder is mounted in the pocket.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A storage apparatus for carrying items near a user, the apparatus comprising:
a garment configured for being worn on a torso of the user; a pocket being coupled to an exterior of the garment, the pocket defining an interior space, the pocket being positioned on a front side of the garment closer to a top end of the garment than to a bottom end of the garment, the pocket being configured for being positioned over a chest of the user; and a folder being mounted in the pocket; and wherein the pocket comprises:
a rear panel, wherein the rear panel is integrally formed and unitary with the garment,
a perimeter panel being coupled to and extending away from the rear panel, and
a cover panel being coupled to a distal edge of the perimeter panel with respect to the garment, the cover panel being movable between a closed position and an open position with respect to the interior space.
2 . (canceled)
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a closure being coupled to the cover panel and the perimeter panel to retain the cover panel in the closed position.
4 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the pocket fully encloses the interior space when the closure retains the cover panel in the closed position.
5 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the closure comprises a first mating member being attached to the cover panel and a second mating member being coupled to the perimeter panel.
6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the closure comprises a zipper.
7 . (canceled)
8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the cover panel is pivotably coupled to a bottom portion of the distal edge of the perimeter panel and releasably coupled to each of a top portion and a pair of lateral portions of the distal edge.
9 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein each of the rear panel, the perimeter panel, and the cover panel comprise a water-impermeable material.
10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the folder comprises a pair of side panels and a plurality of dividers, each divider of the plurality of dividers being coupled to and extending between the pair of side panels, the plurality of dividers defining a plurality of cavities within the interior space.
11 . A storage apparatus for carrying items near a user, the apparatus comprising:
a garment configured for being worn on a torso of the user; and a pocket being coupled to an exterior of the garment, the pocket defining an interior space, the pocket fully enclosing the interior space, the pocket being positioned on a front side of the garment closer to a top end of the garment than to a bottom end of the garment, the pocket being configured for being positioned over a chest of the user, the pocket comprising:
a rear panel, the rear panel being integrally formed and unitary with the garment;
a perimeter panel being coupled to and extending away from the rear panel;
a cover panel being coupled to a distal edge of the perimeter panel with respect to the garment, the cover panel being movable between a closed position and an open position with respect to the interior space, the cover panel being pivotably coupled to a bottom portion of the distal edge of the perimeter panel and releasably coupled to each of a top portion and a pair of lateral portions of the distal edge;
a closure being coupled to the cover panel and the perimeter panel to retain the cover panel in the closed position, the pocket fully enclosing the interior space when the closure retains the cover panel in the closed position, the closure comprising a first mating member being attached to the cover panel and a second mating member being coupled to the perimeter panel, the closure comprising a zipper; and
wherein each of the rear panel, the perimeter panel, and the cover panel comprise a water-impermeable material; and
a folder being mounted in the pocket, the folder comprising a pair of side panels and a plurality of dividers, each divider of the plurality of dividers being coupled to and extending between the pair of side panels, the plurality of dividers defining a plurality of cavities within the interior space.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
