Abstract
A salon cape apparatus for facilitating a user to view a handheld device while wearing the salon cape includes a sheet which is flexible and translucent throughout such that the sheet is configured for facilitating viewing objects through the sheet. The sheet has a first edge and a second edge and has a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge each extending between the first edge and the second edge. The sheet has a hole extending therethrough which is shaped such that the hole is configured for extending around a neck of a user.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A salon cape apparatus comprising:
a sheet, the sheet being flexible, the sheet being translucent throughout such that the sheet is configured for facilitating viewing objects through the sheet, the sheet having an outer edge with a first edge portion and a second edge portion, the outer edge having a first lateral edge portion and a second lateral edge portion each extending between the first edge portion and the second edge portion, the sheet having a hole extending therethrough, the hole being shaped such that the hole is configured for extending around a neck of a user; and a rim being coupled to the sheet, the rim extending along the outer edge of the sheet, the rim being flexible, the rim being opaque to facilitate identification of the outer edge of the sheet.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the hole is centered between the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge, the hole being positioned closer to the first edge portion of the outer edge than to the second edge portion.
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the sheet has a slit extending from the hole to the first edge portion of the outer edge.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the sheet comprises vinyl.

6 . (canceled)
7 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the rim further extends along each of a first edge of the slit, a second edge of the slit, and a perimeter edge of the hole.
8 . (canceled)
9 . The apparatus of claim 3 , further comprising a closure being coupled to the sheet for releasably preventing the slit from opening, the closure comprising a first mating member and a second mating member, the first mating member being coupled to the sheet adjacent to a first edge of the slit, the second mating member being coupled to the sheet adjacent to a second edge of the slit.
10 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the closure comprises a plurality of snap buttons being distributed along the slit.
11 . A salon cape apparatus comprising:
a sheet, the sheet being flexible, the sheet being translucent throughout such that the sheet is configured for facilitating viewing objects through the sheet, the sheet comprising vinyl, the sheet having an outer edge with a first edge portion and a second edge portion, the outer edge having a first lateral edge portion and a second lateral edge portion each extending between the first edge portion and the second edge portion, the sheet having a hole extending therethrough, the hole being shaped such that the hole is configured for extending around a neck of a user, the hole being centered between the first lateral edge portion and the second lateral edge portion, the hole being positioned closer to the first edge portion than to the second edge portion, the sheet having a slit extending from the hole to the first edge portion; a rim being coupled to the sheet, the rim extending along each of the outer edge of the sheet, a first edge of the slit, a second edge of the slit, and a perimeter edge of the hole, the rim being flexible, the rim being opaque to facilitate identification of the outer edge of the sheet; and a closure being coupled to the sheet for releasably preventing the slit from opening, the closure comprising a first mating member and a second mating member, the first mating member being coupled to the sheet adjacent to the first edge of the slit, the second mating member being coupled to the sheet adjacent to the second edge of the slit, the closure comprising a plurality of snap buttons being distributed along the slit.
