Abstract

A system for use with an archery bow arrow rest is provided including a limb driven rest quick disconnect cable assembly top configured to removably attach to an archery bow limb wherein the top is generally a truncated square pyramid shape, a limb driven rest quick disconnect cable assembly bottom configured to removably engage the top, at least two socket head screws configured to engage the top and the bottom, wherein the top and the bottom sandwich the archery bow limb when the at least two socket head screws are in an engaged position, and a set screw configured to removably secure an archery bow arrow rest cable to the top, and wherein the cable is configured to engage the arrow rest.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for use with an arrow rest comprising:
 a top configured to removably attach to an archery bow limb;   a bottom configured to removably engage the top;   at least two socket head screws configured to engage the top and the bottom, and wherein the top and the bottom sandwich the archery bow limb when the at least two socket head screws are in an engaged position; and   a set screw configured to removably secure an arrow rest cable to the top, and wherein the arrow rest cable is configured to engage the arrow rest.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the top is generally pyramidal-shaped or a truncated square pyramid shape. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 2 , wherein the top comprises a slot positioned in a center of the top. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 3 , wherein the arrow rest cable is positioned within the slot in the engaged position. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 4 , wherein the slot is generally U-shaped. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 5 , wherein the slot is positioned on a facet opposite a rear side of the top. 
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 6 , wherein the top or the bottom comprise a metal, an alloy, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 6 , wherein the top or the bottom comprise a polymer. 
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 6 , wherein the top or the bottom comprise a carbon fiber material. 
     
     
         10 . A method of making the system of  claim 1 . 
     
     
         11 . A compound bow comprising the system of  claim 1 . 
     
     
         12 . An archery bow limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly comprising:
 a top configured to removably attach to an archery bow limb;   a bottom configured to removably engage the top;   at least two socket head screws configured to engage the top and the bottom, wherein the top and the bottom sandwich the archery bow limb when the at least two socket head screws are in an engaged position;   a set screw; and   a cable configured to engage an arrow rest and the top, wherein the set screw is configured to removably secure the cable to the top.   
     
     
         13 . The archery bow limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly of  claim 12 , wherein the top is generally pyramidal-shaped or a truncated square pyramid shape. 
     
     
         14 . The archery bow limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly of  claim 12 , wherein the top is a truncated square pyramid shape. 
     
     
         15 . The archery bow limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly of  claim 12 , wherein the top comprises a slot positioned in a center of the top. 
     
     
         16 . The archery bow limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly of  claim 15 , wherein the slot is generally U-shaped. 
     
     
         17 . The archery bow limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly of  claim 12 , wherein the top and the bottom comprise a metal, an alloy, a polymer, a carbon fiber material, or combinations thereof. 
     
     
         18 . An archery bow comprising the archery bow limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly of  claim 12 . 
     
     
         19 . A kit for use with a compound bow comprising:
 a limb driven arrow rest quick disconnect cable assembly comprising:
 a top configured to removably attach to an archery bow limb wherein the top is generally a truncated square pyramid shape, 
 a bottom configured to removably engage the top, 
 a set screw configured to engage the top, 
 at least two socket head screws configured to engage the top and the bottom, and wherein the top and the bottom sandwich the archery bow limb when the at least two socket head screws are in an engaged position, 
 a cable configured to engage an arrow rest and the top, wherein the set screw is configured to removably secure the cable to the top; and 
   a set of printed instructions, wherein each component is combined into a unitary packaging assembly.   
     
     
         20 . The kit of  claim 19 , wherein the set of printed instructions are integral with the unitary packaging assembly.
