Dispenser Package

Abstract

A carton assembly for holding and dispensing a product. The carton assembly can include a base for holding the product at least partially in a base interior. The base can comprise a plurality of base panels extending at least partially around the base interior. The carton assembly further can include a sleeve comprising a plurality of sleeve panels extending at least partially around a sleeve interior. The base can be located at least partially in the sleeve interior for holding at least a portion of the product in the sleeve interior. The sleeve can comprise an open top end, and the base can be slidable along at least a portion of the sleeve for moving at least a portion of the product through the open top end of the sleeve from the sleeve interior.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A carton assembly for holding and dispensing a product, the carton assembly comprising:
 a base for holding the product at least partially in a base interior, the base comprising a plurality of base panels extending at least partially around the base interior; and   a sleeve comprising a plurality of sleeve panels extending at least partially around a sleeve interior, the base being located at least partially in the sleeve interior for holding at least a portion of the product in the sleeve interior;   wherein the sleeve comprises an open top end, and the base is slidable along at least a portion of the sleeve for moving at least a portion of the product through the open top end of the sleeve from the sleeve interior.   
     
     
         2 . The carton assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the base comprises a base boot positioned at least partially in the base interior, and the base boot is for at least partially supporting the product in the base interior. 
     
     
         3 . The carton assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the base boot comprises a central panel for engaging the product in the base interior, the central panel being spaced apart from a top end and a bottom end of the base. 
     
     
         4 . The carton assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the base boot comprises a central panel and a plurality of boot flaps respectively foldably connected to the central panel, and wherein boot flaps of the plurality of boot flaps are secured in face-to-face contact with respective base panels of the plurality of base panels in the base interior. 
     
     
         5 . The carton assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the base further comprises a pull tab foldably connected to at least one base panel of the plurality of base panels at a bottom end of the base, and the pull tab is for being grasped and pulled for moving the base in at least one direction in the sleeve interior. 
     
     
         6 . The carton assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising a lid comprising a plurality of lid panels extending at least partially around a lid interior, wherein the lid comprises an open bottom end, and the lid receives at least a portion of the sleeve in the lid interior through the open bottom end of the lid for at least partially enclosing the product between the lid and the base. 
     
     
         7 . The carton assembly of  claim 6 , wherein the lid comprises a lid boot at least partially closing a top end of the lid opposite to the open bottom end of the lid. 
     
     
         8 . The carton assembly of  claim 7 , wherein the lid boot comprises a central panel extending along the top end of the lid at least partially closing the top end and a plurality of boot flaps respectively foldably connected to the central panel, and wherein boot flaps of the plurality of boot flaps are secured in face-to-face contact with respective lid panels of the plurality of lid panels in the lid interior. 
     
     
         9 . The carton assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of base panels comprises at least a first base side panel, a second base side panel opposite to the first base side panel, a first base end panel, and a second base end panel foldably connected to the first base end panel, and wherein the first base end panel and the second base end panel extend at an acute angle with respect to one another. 
     
     
         10 . The carton assembly of  claim 9 , wherein the plurality of sleeve panels comprises at least a first sleeve side panel, a second sleeve side panel opposite to the first sleeve side panel, a first sleeve end panel, and a second sleeve end panel foldably connected to the first sleeve end panel, and wherein the first sleeve end panel and the second sleeve end panel extend at an acute angle with respect to one another. 
     
     
         11 . The carton assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of base panels comprises at least a base side panel and a base end panel foldably connected to the base side panel, wherein the plurality of sleeve panels comprises at least a sleeve side panel and a sleeve end panel foldably connected to the sleeve side panel, and wherein the sleeve side panel and the sleeve end panel at least partially overlap the respective base side panel and base end panel. 
     
     
         12 . The carton assembly of  claim 11 , further comprising a lid comprising a plurality of lid panels extending at least partially around a lid interior, wherein the lid receives at least a portion of the sleeve in the lid interior for at least partially enclosing the product between the lid and the base, and wherein the plurality of lid panels comprises at least a lid side panel and a lid end panel foldably connected to the lid side panel, the lid side panel and the lid end panel at least partially overlapping the respective sleeve side panel and sleeve end panel. 
     
     
         13 . A package comprising a carton assembly holding a product, the carton assembly comprising:
 a base holding the product at least partially in a base interior, the base comprising a plurality of base panels extending at least partially around the base interior; and   a sleeve comprising a plurality of sleeve panels extending at least partially around a sleeve interior, at least a portion of the base and at least a portion of the product being located in the sleeve interior;   wherein the sleeve comprises an open top end, and the base is slidable along at least a portion of the sleeve for moving at least a portion of the product through the open top end of the sleeve from the sleeve interior.   
     
     
         14 . The package of  claim 13 , wherein the base comprises a base boot positioned at least partially in the base interior, and the base boot at least partially supports the product in the base interior. 
     
     
         15 . The package of  claim 14 , wherein the base boot comprises a central panel engaging the product in the base interior, the central panel being spaced apart from a top end and a bottom end of the base. 
     
     
         16 . The package of  claim 14 , wherein the base boot comprises a central panel and a plurality of boot flaps respectively foldably connected to the central panel, and wherein boot flaps of the plurality of boot flaps are secured in face-to-face contact with respective base panels of the plurality of base panels in the base interior. 
     
     
         17 . The package of  claim 13 , wherein the base further comprises a pull tab foldably connected to at least one base panel of the plurality of base panels at a bottom end of the base, and the pull tab is for being grasped and pulled for moving the base in at least one direction in the sleeve interior. 
     
     
         18 . The package of  claim 13 , further comprising a lid comprising a plurality of lid panels extending at least partially around a lid interior, wherein the lid comprises an open bottom end, and the lid receives at least a portion of the sleeve in the lid interior through the open bottom end of the lid so that the product is at least partially enclosed between the lid and the base. 
     
     
         19 . The package of  claim 18 , wherein the lid comprises a lid boot at least partially closing a top end of the lid opposite to the open bottom end of the lid. 
     
     
         20 . The package of  claim 13 , wherein the plurality of base panels comprises at least a base side panel and a base end panel foldably connected to the base side panel, wherein the plurality of sleeve panels comprises at least a sleeve side panel and a sleeve end panel foldably connected to the sleeve side panel, and wherein the sleeve side panel and the sleeve end panel at least partially overlap the respective base side panel and base end panel. 
     
     
         21 . The package of  claim 20 , further comprising a lid comprising a plurality of lid panels extending at least partially around a lid interior, wherein the lid receives at least a portion of the sleeve in the lid interior so that the product is at least partially enclosed between the lid and the base, and wherein the plurality of lid panels comprises at least a lid side panel and a lid end panel foldably connected to the lid side panel, the lid side panel and the lid end panel at least partially overlapping the respective sleeve side panel and sleeve end panel. 
     
     
         22 . In combination, a plurality of blanks for forming a carton assembly, the plurality of blanks comprising:
 a base blank for forming a base of the carton assembly for holding a product at least partially in a base interior, the base blank comprising a plurality of base panels for extending at least partially around the base interior when the base is formed from the base blank; and   a sleeve blank for forming a sleeve of the carton assembly, the sleeve blank comprising a plurality of sleeve panels for extending at least partially around a sleeve interior when the sleeve is formed from the sleeve blank, wherein the base formed from the base blank is being located at least partially in the sleeve interior for holding at least a portion of the product in the sleeve interior when the carton assembly is formed from the plurality of blanks;   wherein the sleeve formed from the sleeve blank comprises an open top end, and the base formed from the base blank is slidable along at least a portion of the sleeve for moving at least a portion of the product through the open top end of the sleeve from the sleeve interior when the carton assembly is formed from the plurality of blanks.   
     
     
         23 . The combination of  claim 22 , further comprising a base boot blank for forming a base boot for being positioned at least partially in the base interior of the base formed by the base blank and the base boot blank. 
     
     
         24 . The combination of  claim 23 , wherein the base boot blank comprises a central panel and a plurality of boot flaps respectively foldably connected to the central panel, and wherein boot flaps of the plurality of boot flaps are for being secured in face-to-face contact with respective base panels of the plurality of base panels in the base interior when the base is formed from the base boot blank and the base blank. 
     
     
         25 . The combination of  claim 22 , wherein the base blank further comprises a pull tab foldably connected to at least one base panel of the plurality of base panels. 
     
     
         26 . The combination of  claim 22 , further comprising a lid blank for forming a lid of the carton assembly, the lid blank comprising a plurality of lid panels for extending at least partially around a lid interior when the lid is formed from the lid blank, wherein the lid formed from the lid blank is for receiving at least a portion of the sleeve formed from the sleeve blank in the lid interior when the carton assembly is formed by the base blank, the sleeve blank, and the lid blank. 
     
     
         27 . The combination of  claim 26 , further comprising a lid boot blank for forming a lid boot for being positioned at least partially in the lid interior of the lid formed by the lid blank and the lid boot. 
     
     
         28 . The combination of  claim 27 , wherein the lid boot blank comprises a central panel and a plurality of boot flaps respectively foldably connected to the central panel, and wherein boot flaps of the plurality of boot flaps are for being secured in face-to-face contact with respective lid panels of the plurality of lid panels in the lid interior when the lid is formed from the lid blank and the lid boot blank. 
     
     
         29 . The combination of  claim 22 , wherein the plurality of base panels comprises at least a first base side panel, a second base side panel, a first base end panel, and a second base end panel foldably connected to the first base end panel. 
     
     
         30 . The combination of  claim 29 , wherein the plurality of sleeve panels comprises at least a first sleeve side panel, a second sleeve side panel, a first sleeve end panel, and a second sleeve end panel foldably connected to the first sleeve end panel. 
     
     
         31 . A method of forming a carton assembly, the method comprising:
 obtaining at least a base blank and a sleeve blank, wherein the base blank comprises a plurality of base panels and the sleeve blank comprises a plurality of sleeve panels;   forming a base of the carton assembly by positioning the base panels of the plurality of base panels to extend at least partially around a base interior, the base being for holding a product at least partially in the base interior;   forming a sleeve of the carton assembly by positioning the sleeve panels of the plurality of sleeve panels to extend at least partially around a sleeve interior, the sleeve comprising an open top end;   positioning at least a portion of the base in the sleeve interior for holding at least a portion of the product in the sleeve interior, wherein the base is slidable along at least a portion of the sleeve for moving at least a portion of the product through the open top end of the sleeve from the sleeve interior.   
     
     
         32 . The method of  claim 31 , further comprising obtaining a base boot blank, wherein the forming the base comprises forming the base boot blank into a base boot and positioning the base boot at least partially in the base interior, and wherein the base boot is for at least partially supporting the product in the base interior. 
     
     
         33 . The method of  claim 32 , wherein the base boot comprises a central panel for engaging the product in the base interior, and wherein the positioning the base boot comprises positioning the central panel to be spaced apart from a top end and a bottom end of the base. 
     
     
         34 . The method of  claim 32 , wherein the base boot comprises a central panel and a plurality of boot flaps respectively foldably connected to the central panel, and wherein the forming the base further comprises securing the boot flaps of the plurality of boot flaps in face-to-face contact with respective base panels of the plurality of base panels in the base interior. 
     
     
         35 . The method of  claim 31 , further comprising obtaining a lid blank comprising a plurality of lid panels and forming a lid of the carton assembly by positioning lid panels of the plurality of lid panels to extend at least partially around a lid interior, wherein the lid is for receiving at least a portion of the sleeve in the lid interior. 
     
     
         36 . The method of  claim 35 , further comprising obtaining a lid boot blank, and wherein the forming the lid comprises forming the lid boot blank into a lid boot and positioning the lid boot at least partially in the lid interior so that the lid boot at least partially closes a top end of the lid opposite to an open bottom end of the lid. 
     
     
         37 . The method of  claim 31 , wherein the plurality of base panels comprises at least a base side panel and a base end panel foldably connected to the base side panel, wherein the plurality of sleeve panels comprises at least a sleeve side panel and a sleeve end panel foldably connected to the sleeve side panel, and wherein the positioning at least a portion of the base in the sleeve interior comprises positioning the sleeve side panel and the sleeve end panel to at least partially overlap the respective base side panel and base end panel. 
     
     
         38 . The method of  claim 37 , further comprising obtaining a lid comprising a plurality of lid panels extending at least partially around a lid interior and positioning at least a portion of the sleeve in the lid interior for at least partially enclosing the product between the lid and the base, wherein the plurality of lid panels comprises at least a lid side panel and a lid end panel foldably connected to the lid side panel, and wherein the positioning at least a portion of the sleeve in the lid interior comprises positioning the lid side panel and the lid end panel to at least partially overlap the respective sleeve side panel and sleeve end panel.
