Catcher's Leg Guard

Abstract

A catcher's leg guard allowing for an improved fit feeling is provided. The catcher's leg guard is a catcher's leg guard wearable by a user. The catcher's leg guard includes a thigh protection portion and a shin protection portion. When the user wears the catcher's leg guard, the thigh protection portion is disposed at a position to cover at least a portion of a thigh part of the user. When the user wears the catcher's leg guard, the shin protection portion is disposed at a position to cover a shin part of the user. The thigh protection portion includes a protection member. The protection member is divided into a plurality of protection members.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A catcher's leg guard wearable by a user, the catcher's leg guard comprising:
 a thigh protection portion; and   a shin protection portion, wherein   when the user wears the catcher's leg guard,
 the thigh protection portion is disposed at a position to cover at least a portion of a thigh part of the user, and 
 the shin protection portion is disposed at a position to cover a shin part of the user, and 
   the thigh protection portion includes a protection member divided into a plurality of protection members.   
     
     
         2 . The catcher's leg guard according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the thigh protection portion includes a coupling member having flexibility, and   the coupling member couples the divided protection members.   
     
     
         3 . The catcher's leg guard according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the protection member includes a central protection member and a pair of end-side protection members disposed to sandwich the central protection member, and   when a first direction is defined as a direction in which the thigh protection portion is disposed as viewed from the shin protection portion, the pair of end-side protection members are disposed to be separated from each other in a direction perpendicular to the first direction.   
     
     
         4 . The catcher's leg guard according to  claim 3 , wherein
 the thigh protection portion has a thigh covering surface and a thigh protection surface,   the thigh covering surface is a surface facing a front surface of the thigh part of the user when the user wears the catcher's leg guard,   the thigh protection surface is a surface opposite to the thigh covering surface,   the central protection member has a first region and a second region,   the second region is disposed at a position away from the shin protection portion with respect to the first region in the first direction, and   when a second direction is defined as a direction perpendicular to the first direction and perpendicular to a perpendicular line at a central portion of the thigh protection surface, a width of the second region in the second direction is different from a width of the first region in the second direction.   
     
     
         5 . The catcher's leg guard according to  claim 3 , further comprising:
 at least one belt that is able to be wound around a lower thigh of the user when a leg of the user is stretched in a state in which the user wears the catcher's leg guard; and   a knee protection portion that covers a knee part of the user, wherein   the knee protection portion is disposed to extend over a boundary between the thigh protection portion and the shin protection portion in the first direction, and   when the leg of the user is stretched in the state in which the user wears the catcher's leg guard, the belt disposed at a position closest to a kneecap of the user in the first direction is disposed at one of the thigh protection portion and the shin protection portion.
